There are also side items to go with salad, like sparkling water. Oh, and I noticed a lot of young people taking the matcha latte to go. Must be a café known for its matcha latte. If you like it, give it a try — it's cheaper than the smoothies, so less of a commitment.

I wondered why the price was so high — turns out most of the ingredients are health foods. And there are so~ many kinds of ingredients. Because one smoothie has so many ingredients, making it takes a bit longer than a normal smoothie. (Still just 5 minutes though, so it's not boring.)

At a regular café, a smoothie is just ice, frozen fruit, and sugar blended together in a flash. But at Ugly Tongue, they combine all those many ingredients one by one, measuring them on a scale. The golden-ratio smoothie really exists.

How do the 15,000-won diet smoothie and 5,000-won Americano taste?

Ugly Tongue's Diet Smoothie is a ₩15,000 menu item with banana, blueberry, fig, lemon, coconut water, maple syrup, and kale. The Americano is ₩5,000, and the smoothie tasted slightly tart with little sweetness — a healthy fruit smoothie flavor.

My ordered Americano and Diet Smoothie arrived.

The Diet Smoothie has banana, blueberry, fig, lemon, coconut water, maple syrup, and kale. Apparently it helps lower cholesterol. Since it's all health food, it should be good for you.

They clearly took care with how they plated it too, so you get a pretty-looking smoothie.

There's a park right next to Ugly Tongue, so it's nice to sit for a bit and drink there. The flavor is slightly tart with little sweetness — a healthy fruit smoothie taste. Not sweet, so it was easy to drink through. They say this is a must-try smoothie spot in Songdo — the price is a bit steep, but since it's not very sweet, it's fine. Seems good to drink after working out. No worries about blood sugar spikes either.

If you value health, work out regularly, and have some money to spare, I'd recommend Ugly Tongue's smoothies. The ingredients that go in are all healthy. It's the kind of MZ smoothie foreign influencers would love.
