It's located a 5-minute walk from Sinjungdong Station Exit 3, behind the restaurant alley, so it's not hard to find! If you're driving, you can park right in the same building as Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang on the 1st floor, and parking is free. If that lot is full, you can park at Jungdong Park Town, two buildings over, with up to 1 hour supported.

6- and 12-person tables and private rooms: how to book a group
Looking inside this Bucheon Korean restaurant I'd recommend for gatherings, the overall interior is spacious with a modern, clean Korean-restaurant vibe. Best of all, it's set up with 6- and 12-person tables, which are perfect for group visits!
Given the scale, there are also a lot of private rooms, so if you need a more private meal, the rooms work great too! Most guests seemed to be visiting in groups, and I saw group reservation signs scattered around quite a bit! Since there's often a wait even on regular days, I'd recommend booking ahead if you're planning to use this as a gathering spot.

The 13,000-won tteuranchae bapsang set and what we ordered
Tteuranchae Bapsang, ₩13,000
The basic menu is the tteuranchae bapsang set (₩13,000), ordered per person, and you can add à la carte dishes like dried yellow corvina, soy-marinated crab, charcoal-grilled pork, octopus, cockle salad, and grilled mackerel. We wanted to try the dried yellow corvina (₩18,000) so we added it on top of two tteuranchae bapsang sets!

Self-bar side dishes with unlimited barley and yellow rice
The real perk of a group meal at this Bucheon Korean restaurant is this self-bar. On top of the basic side dishes provided, there's a whole spread of extra side dishes ready to go!

Seasoned spinach, kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi), lotus root fritters, japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), napa cabbage kimchi, and various leafy greens for wraps — the side dishes are laid out so generously that you can just help yourself as much as you want, which makes it perfect for family meals or gatherings!
On top of that, you can grab as much barley rice or yellow rice as you like for free to mix things together, and there's plum tea or omija (schisandra berry) tea to cleanse the palate — really nice for older family members to finish their meal with.

The full set-meal table with the 18,000-won dried yellow corvina
While waiting, the tteuranchae bapsang set arrived — a full spread. Warm pot rice, appetizing cheonggukjang (fermented soybean paste stew), and the neat side dishes we'd just seen at the self-bar all came out beautifully arranged, filling the whole table.

And then the extra dried yellow corvina we ordered arrived too~ Once it's all laid out like this, you're ready to eat. The side dishes come pre-portioned onto separate small plates, so it looks nice and it's also great for bringing along elderly family members.

How to eat it: mixing barley rice and finishing with sungnyung
A little tip for eating well at this Bucheon Korean restaurant: take that barley rice from earlier, add a variety of seasoned greens and a spoonful of cheonggukjang, and mix it all together. Wrap it up nicely in the leafy greens and you've got yourself a wild-greens bibimbap that tastes great and digests well.

On top of that, make scorched-rice tea from the warm pot rice and eat it alongside the dried yellow corvina — the combo of plain rice and the salty fish is a true insider favorite, if you know, you know~

Coffee and sweets after the meal, and is Gim Myeongju right for a family outing?
After a satisfying meal, we finished off with coffee, and they also sell simple sweets for dessert or a palate cleanser — a perfectly complete ending.
Overall, with its clean, tidy interior, over 13 kinds of varied side dishes, and main dishes that older family members will love, I'd recommend Gim Myeongju Tteuranchae Bapsang Jungdong Branch, a Bucheon Korean restaurant, if you're looking for a spot for a group gathering or a family meal.
