Seohae optical shop for lightweight progressive glasses: Hwangseonsaeng
In short
Hwangseonsaeng Angyeong Lensme Ruwon City Branch is an optical shop in Seohae, Incheon. My dad had a detailed ZEISS eye exam for myopia and progressive lenses, then chose a lightweight ₩90,000 frame and Carl Zeiss progressive lenses. A great choice for glasses fitted to my dad.

We went to Hwangseonsaeng Angyeong Lensme, which specializes in progressive lenses, because my dad has myopia and needed progressive lenses too!! It makes me sad to really feel my parents getting older little by little ㅠㅠ
Location and parking at Hwangseonsaeng Angyeong Lensme Ruwon City Branch

It is inside Ruwon Leaders Shopping Complex at Sangga 301-dong A-dong B102-ho, 437 Gajeong-ro, Seohae-gu, Incheon, South Korea.
The complex parking lot is free for 3 hours. Search for Gajeong-dong 478-32, then enter the officetel and commercial-facility parking entrance between CU convenience store, Ruwon Gogi Wang, and Sunflower Real Estate. Go down to B3, turn right, and look for pillar D49, where there is an elevator. Taking the Building A elevator to B1 is the quickest route.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day, and it is closed on Chuseok day.
Lots of glasses and bookable eye exams

The moment we walked in, it felt different from other optical shops, with so many glasses from different brands. The atmosphere felt upscale and polished!
We booked a progressive-lens appointment, but you can reserve a time that suits you for detailed eye exams, personalized progressive-lens exams, consultations and tests for children’s myopia-control lenses, glasses repairs and fitting, and more. You can also get 5% off by writing a Naver review!

It is also a ZEISS specialist optical shop, so the examination uses a German-style ZEISS system, allowing precise tests with machines other optical shops do not have! I had not seen machines like these at neighborhood optical shops, so it really was different.

They also sell various goggles and sunglasses, including Oakley and Rudy Project styles that are great for people who run or do leisure sports~.~ There were lots of sunglasses too, so they were fun to browse.
Choosing a lightweight frame at a fixed price

There were so many frame options, but we needed something light, so we got a ₩90,000 frame—yay! With fixed prices ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9, it was nice to be able to buy the glasses we wanted at a price we could trust.
My dad prefers lightweight glasses, so he tried on the ones recommended to him and was genuinely pleased by how light they felt!!
Children’s glasses and contact lenses, too

There is custom fitting and eye testing for children, and, as the name Hwangseonsaeng Angyeong Lensme suggests, they also sell a variety of contact lenses and colored lenses.
Checking his eye condition with the ZEISS exam system

They photographed my dad’s eyes with the ZEISS examination system, and we could check his eye condition in incredible detail in the exam room! I think this was the first place where, instead of just doing a vision test like before, we could have such a detailed ZEISS exam and carefully look over his eye condition 👍

It had been a while since he last got glasses, so his myopia had worsened a little..ㅠㅠ The optician even drew a diagram like that and explained things clearly so we could understand his current condition.

We chose Carl Zeiss progressive lenses, and the frame is fitted personally to him, including the height of his ears, to make the most suitable glasses! The best part was being able to customize glasses that fit my dad perfectly.

Even though it was a weekday morning, there were lots of people. We fitted the lightweight frame and the prescription/progressive lenses my dad needed, and all that remains is to pick them up in about a week! We have to collect them in person to hear the progressive-lens adjustment instructions, so we are planning to visit again together in a week. Glasses, wait for ussss~~
Progressive lenses are expensive, but we could get glasses that fit my dad perfectly, so I recommend Hwangseonsaeng Angyeong Ruwon City!!
And with the Naver review event, you can choose either 24 ZEISS lens wipes or a 5% discount coupon, so it is nice to write a Naver review and get the benefit 👍👍
