Shabu in Seoul Hapjeong Branch gave off an upscale feel from the exterior alone.

What impressed me too was how considerate they were — pregnant customers can be seated immediately, no waiting!

The interior was modern yet upscale, and every seat had comfy cushioned chairs — this would be perfect for a family gathering or a meal with friends!

The meat quality ranges from 1st-grade black pork all the way to hanwoo (Korean beef), and it's all genuinely great and varied >_<

Ordering hanwoo boseopsal and salchisal in beef tomato broth

We ordered the beef tomato broth with hanwoo boseopsal (1 serving) plus salchisal!

With dipping sauce, minced garlic, and cheongyang chili all set out before the mains even arrived, the anticipation was already building!

The vegetables were genuinely fresh and generous, and the beef tomato sauce looked really appetizing!

Especially the meat — maybe because it was hanwoo boseopsal and prime-grade salchisal, the marbling was absolutely stunning!

The presentation was gorgeous too — I thought it'd be perfect for inviting friends over or a family gathering >_<

The beef tomato broth had a strong tomato aroma and was really rich and delicious! Each vegetable was fresh too, so I had a really satisfying meal.

The meat's marbling was so good it stayed tender with zero dryness — seriously amazing.

The finish: table-made risotto and omija tea

After we finished eating, the staff made us risotto as a finishing dish, and it was tastier than what you'd get at a decent Western restaurant — I was so surprised haha

To finish, a refreshing cup of omija tea (five-flavor berry tea)! It wrapped up a really happy lunch.
