As the seasons change, I've been wanting to bring a little autumn feeling to my fingertips too. Craving something warm and understated to match the cooler weather, I went looking for a nail salon and ended up at Byuazeu, a Hongdae nail specialist known for its sensitive art designs and spotless care.

The treatment stations and pedi zone at Byuazeu were spotless — not a speck of dust — and the tools were kept in a sterilizer. Turns out the shop has a seriously impressive list of awards, too. I loved the clean, fresh air the moment I stepped in, and it gave me a lot of confidence about hygiene.

Turns out Byuazeu is a one-stop total beauty shop — not just nails, but a whole range of treatments under one roof! I thought it'd be great to book a lash perm or skincare session at the same time as a nail appointment.

Here's September's monthly art! Every design was so pretty I could barely choose, haha. Luckily I'd already decided to get nude-tone magnetic nails before I even walked in, so no agonizing needed for me.

The pedi zone also has its pedi art laid out neatly, so picking a design there looked effortless too. I've usually only done one-color pedicures, but I think art would look amazing.

Basic care is really what determines how polished and long-lasting a manicure looks — and the technician was genuinely fast. She shaped my nails into an oval that doesn't look stubby but still makes fingers look longer.

Depending on the light and angle, the magnetic particles ripple and shimmer like rolling waves — so luxurious. And being nude-toned, it's giving full autumn vibes~!
