Cultured is on the 1st floor at 81 Seungcheon-ro, near Ara-dong Verrace, Jeju City. You'll spot the stylish CULTURED sign made of wood and steel right on the roadside. Park at the nearby public parking lot!

Inside Cultured: the dining room and group tables

The interior at Cultured has a vintage-yet-modern feel ✨. There are 2-person tables, 4-person tables, and a separate group seating area, so it's perfect for company dinners, family gatherings, or a private hangout with friends. Around noon it was packed with people out for lunch with their parents, friends, or partners 👥👥

How much is Cultured's lunch special, and what can you choose?

Here's the Cultured menu ✨. It's a family restaurant serving all kinds of Western dishes — salads, pizzas, pastas, risottos, and more. Lots of people order the lunch special since it lets you get three menu items for less than ordering à la carte. And apparently Cultured gives one free drink per person‼️ Truly an honest-pricing kind of place 👼😭

Chuck eye roll balsamic salad (17,000 won)

The salad came out first ✨. The beef, zucchini, eggplant, and mushrooms were all charred 🔥, then tossed in a sweet-and-sour balsamic sauce — fresh and full of savory depth. Every ingredient was fresh, and the mix of oyster mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, and shiitake gave it a great bite 🍄. Not just a simple starter — the subtle char on the grilled eggplant and zucchini made it feel like a proper, satisfying dish 👏🏻

Cultured's shrimp oil pasta (17,000 won)

This shrimp oil pasta 🍝 is loaded with plump shrimp in a garlicky oil sauce. Piling the big shrimp on the noodles for a bite, the nutty garlic and the springy pop of the shrimp filled my mouth. There's zucchini in it too, so it's clean and light without feeling greasy 👍🏻. If you like oil-based pasta, this one won't disappoint anyone‼️

Half gorgonzola, half tomato basil margherita with a pastry-like crust edge

We ordered a half-and-half — golden, well-baked gorgonzola on one side, and margherita topped nicely with basil pesto on the other! Dip the gorgonzola in honey for double the nuttiness, while the margherita brings fragrant basil and bright tomato that pairs perfectly with the cheese. I give myself credit for refusing to pick just one and going half-and-half 🥰. Getting two flavors on one pizza meant we never got tired of it and enjoyed it happily to the last bite 🍕. Unlike a regular bread crust, the edge here was pastry — crisp like a pie shell with a moist inside, so we finished every last bit of the crust too 👍🏻

Cultured was a Western-style family restaurant in Jeju City that nailed all three things at once — atmosphere, taste, and value ✨

We started fresh with a chuck eye roll balsamic salad piled high with beef and mushrooms, moved on to a clean shrimp oil pasta full of garlic aroma and springy shrimp, and finished with a pastry half-and-half pizza whose crispy edge genuinely impressed me 😊. Every dish in the set was really delicious. If you're craving good pizza and pasta without spending a fortune, I recommend 'Cultured' in Ara-dong, Jeju City.
