Brisket pho with extra cilantro in Myeongji, Busan: Mibundang
In short
Mibundang Myeongji Branch is a pho restaurant on the 1st floor of the Sales Facility Building in Myeongji International City, Gangseo-gu, Busan. The writer, who has travelled to Vietnam more than 10 times, had brisket pho here with a coworker at lunch and asked the staff for a side of cilantro to pile on top. The broth was clean enough to finish the whole bowl even on a day with no appetite, and the bar-table layout at Mibundang suits solo diners too.

I love pho enough to have visited Vietnam more than 10 times, and even though it hasn't been a month since I got back from Nha Trang, I was already missing that deep, rich broth.

Then, while trying to figure out where to eat lunch in Myeongji with my coworkers, we ended up at Mibundang Myeongji Branch, already a well-known Myeongji favorite!

For anyone missing the real taste of Vietnam, I'll walk you through everything — location, parking, menu, and an honest review.
Where is Mibundang Myeongji Branch, and what about parking and hours?
Mibundang Myeongji Branch is located at 141, 1F, Sales Facility Building, 41 Myeongji-gukje 2-ro, Gangseo-gu, Busan, South Korea. My workplace is nearby, so I walked over!
✅ Parking info — Underground parking available, 1 hour free rotation (no registration needed)

✅ Hours — 11:00–21:00, break time 15:00–17:00, last order 14:30 and 20:30

✅ Good to know — There's lemon water and other thoughtful little touches set out at the entrance for waiting customers.
How to order at the Mibundang kiosk, and what is on the menu
Before walking straight into Mibundang Myeongji Branch, you need to order and pay at the kiosk near the entrance first. (We didn't know this and just walked in, then had to step back out to order, haha)

✅ Menu and price — I ordered the brisket pho, marked 'GOOD' on the menu, but looking again, there was a separate 'BEST' item up top — brisket and beef tendon pho!

Next time, I definitely want to try the brisket and beef tendon pho so I can enjoy all the different textures.
Bar-table seating, blankets and under-seat drawers at Mibundang
Mibundang Myeongji Branch, a well-known pho spot in Myeongji, has a pretty unique seating layout.

In this quiet, comfortable atmosphere where you can focus entirely on your meal, the calm and cozy bar-table setup really stands out.

It's a quiet, comfortable space perfect for solo dining if you work nearby, but it's also just as good for a Myeongji date — sitting side by side, talking quietly while you eat.

✅ Thoughtful details — Blankets are provided for anyone who feels cold, and they're washed twice a week, which felt reassuringly hygienic. There's a coat hanger in the back for jackets or bags.

✅ Table setup — Open the drawer under your seat and you'll find utensils and sauce dishes neatly arranged, with the sauces themselves lined up on a shelf above the table — really convenient.
How the brisket pho broth tastes, plus cilantro and hot sauce tips

As soon as we sat down, they neatly brought out one side dish per person, and the food came out really fast too — perfect for a busy lunch hour!
✅ The broth — The broth was seriously, incredibly clean-tasting! I've had no appetite lately while on Mounjaro, but I still finished the whole bowl. My coworker, who normally eats very little, finished her whole bowl too!

✅ Cilantro combo — If you ask staff for cilantro, they'll bring out a generous helping of fresh cilantro. You know how piling it on top of the noodles makes that bright cilantro aroma spread and takes the whole bowl to another level, right?!
✅ Spicy sauce tip — Drizzling one loop of Mibundang's special hot sauce over the noodles adds a sharp, spicy kick! If you love spice, going around twice sounds like a great idea too.

Receipt review freebie and is Mibundang Myeongji Branch worth it?

While eating, I noticed they're running a Naver receipt review event! Definitely leave a quick review and grab your 2 pieces of shrimp roll.

As someone who loves pho enough to have visited Vietnam 10 times, this place was truly perfect for my taste — I need to bring my pho-obsessed husband back here soon!

If you're near Myeongji looking for a pho spot with deep, clean broth, I highly recommend Mibundang Myeongji Branch!
