I went shopping at the Gijang Shinsegae Outlet over the weekend 😊 To combine shopping with a good lunch, I stopped by Bueokgan Restaurant, Shinsegae Simon Busan, inside the outlet.

Bueokgan is located on the 1st floor of the Gijang Shinsegae Simon Busan Premium Outlets~ It's right below the 2nd-floor kids' store, so it was easy to find.

How long is the weekend lunch wait at Bueokgan?

Since we visited during lunchtime, the restaurant was pretty crowded. Still, luckily we didn't have to wait long before being seated for our meal.

Bueokgan, a Western restaurant known well in Gijang, had a menu board where you could see all the options at a glance while waiting a bit~

Once we sat down, they brought us separate kids' tableware and utensils, which was nice.

Bueokgan's dining room and what it offers families with kids

Walking in, the interior felt luxurious yet warm overall. There were tastefully decorated corners throughout, so it was fun just looking around the space, not only eating the food. It wasn't a stiff, overly formal restaurant vibe, so it felt comfortable to dine there with a kid.

There was also a high chair, so a lot of families were visiting together~

Basil pesto cream pasta at Bueokgan

The first dish to arrive, basil pesto cream pasta, was also one of the best-menu picks. It combines the fragrant aroma of basil pesto with a nutty, smooth cream sauce, so it's a dish cream-pasta lovers would enjoy. The thick yet smooth cream sauce coated the noodles well, so every bite carried both nuttiness and basil aroma together. Even my kid ate it happily, saying it was delicious~

Abalone cream risotto at Bueokgan

The second dish was abalone cream risotto~ The smooth cream sauce paired with the nutty, clean taste of abalone made it delicious. With actual abalone in it, it felt even more special to eat~

The pickles served alongside were tasty too, so we paired them with the food~

Arugula prosciutto pizza at Bueokgan

The last dish was the arugula prosciutto pizza~ The salty, savory flavor of the prosciutto combined with the fragrant, slightly bitter taste of the arugula made it light and easy to eat. Especially with the pizza dough, prosciutto, and arugula coming together, the flavor combination changed with every bite! Eating pizza alone could feel a bit heavy, but the arugula on top made it feel surprisingly refreshing.

Overall the food was delicious and the interior felt clean and warm, so it was satisfying. In particular, having kids' tableware, utensils, and even a high chair ready made it comfortable to visit with a child.
