A pizza and chicken bar close to Dangsan Station

When dining out with family, meeting friends, or having a company dinner, people often go for pizza or chicken. I wanted to introduce a place where you can take care of both at once.

It is somewhere I personally like and visit from time to time. It has the perfect trio: good food, generous portions, and a great atmosphere. It is Long Time No See Dangsan Branch (롱타임노씨 당산점)!

A spacious interior spread across the second and third floors

As soon as you enter, you can feel the lovely atmosphere inside. There are several beer dispensers too, and my heart was already fluttering with excitement.

I went up to the second floor, and I liked how many tables there were and how spacious it was. There is seating on the third floor as well, so if the second floor is full, you can head upstairs. A neon sign saying, “Our meeting is not a coincidence,” caught my eye. It makes you reflect once again on how precious connections are.

There is an area in the middle of the restaurant where you can pick up cups, and a self-service zone on one side.

There is a machine where you can fill up on freshly popped popcorn as much as you like. The buttery and salty flavors go so well together that my child kept eating it.

You can make yourself a refreshing cup of ice water, and conveniently pick up cutlery, tongs, scissors, cheese powder, hot sauce, and more.

Personally, I love sprinkling cheese powder and hot sauce over pizza. It was nice to do that comfortably without feeling self-conscious. The tissues have cute smiley faces printed on them.

How to order and use the beer dispensers

At Long Time No See Dangsan Branch, you order with your smartphone.

If you prefer to order at the kiosk, you can use that instead. The ordering instructions are explained in detail, so please refer to them.

There is a fun event too. On the 29th of every month, tables with the surname Noh get a 30% discount when they show ID. I should become friends with someone named Noh!

They give you a wristband that you can tag. Tap it on the beer dispenser to pour yourself a beer.

Just tag the section with the red light and use it.

There are beer glasses, soju glasses, and water cups beneath the cute lights, so feel free to take and use them.

Pizza and chicken with the Pizza Chicken Set

A quick look at the menu shows Half & Half, Tomato Spinach, Combination, Honey Garlic Potato, Cheese, Sweet Potato, Mashed Potato, Bulgogi, Double Pepperoni, Bulgogi Shrimp, Hot Chicken Cheongyang Chili, Hawaiian pizza, Spicy Hangover Pasta, and the Pizza Chicken Set. From all those choices, I went with the Pizza Chicken Set, various alcoholic drinks, and Pepsi Zero. For reference, the Pizza Chicken Set is a pizza and chicken set.

The jewel-like colors of the drinks went so well with the pizza and chicken that I kept drinking them. I was sort of avoiding alcohol, but on this day, I had no choice but to have three glasses.

I chose pepperoni for the pizza and added a cheese crust.

There was plenty of cheese and lots of toppings, which made it even more delicious.

The garlic dipping sauce served with it tastes absolutely fantastic! Dip generously and enjoy.

The cheese powder has a delicious savory saltiness too, so sprinkle it on like this!

Taking bites of the pickles alongside it makes for such a great balance. The chicken is wonderfully crispy, and the portion is really large. It comes with chili sauce and ketchup, so dip the chicken and fries into them however you like.

From dinner through a second round

Long Time No See Dangsan Branch is a great restaurant for dinner, company dinners, or a second round of drinks. Every menu item is tasty and the portions are generous, so even a group of men can eat without feeling it is not enough. The atmosphere is lovely and the tables are roomy, making it great for conversation and a fun time. I am sure it is a regular spot for many people—you will understand why once you visit!
