Busanjin bar for cuttlefish and chicken feet: Yuumangju

I was hanging out in Seomyeon when I found a bar with great reviews! The food selection looked varied and the place was pretty too, so we went straight over for drinks as our second round.

It’s right in the middle of the drinking district, so it’s easy to find too.

It’s on the second floor!! The menu photos downstairs all looked so delicious that they totally lured me upstairs, haha.

When you go up, there are tons of cute round mirrors. Of course, I snapped a photo before heading in.

A lovely bar atmosphere, with popular window seats

Yuumangju had such a great atmosphere!! Every window-side seat was occupied. Even though it was late, there were quite a few people there, and the space was so pretty—kind of retro yet clean. The restroom was clean too, and the smoking area was right through a door, so that’s good for smokers..^^

We took the remaining window seat too. You can see out the window, and I think it would be perfectly cool with the doors open in fall~~ Seriously, everyone was sitting at the window seats, haha.

Yuumangju’s menu and complimentary garlic bread

There are so many signature dishes, right? They have lots of drinks and even sell bingsu (shaved ice dessert), which would be so good after drinking. They’re also running a review event, so make sure to join and get a refreshing freebie!!

The insanely delicious complimentary garlic bread..✨ We were eating garlic bread while waiting for our food when the table next to us was celebrating a birthday. They put on the birthday song, and everyone in the bar sang along and celebrated them!! The atmosphere was the best 🎂🎂 I totally recommend it for anyone celebrating a birthday too.

Odaebal topped with whole cuttlefish

Odaebal is described as daechang (beef large intestine), chicken feet and a whole cuttlefish stir-fried like crazy in Yuumangju’s special sauce!! It came out looking exactly like it did on the menu.

The owner personally cut up the cuttlefish in the middle with scissors!!!! A bar that puts a whole cuttlefish on top... that’s definitely not common, right? +_+ The owner was so kind too. They kept checking on us and were super cheerful, which was lovely.

The daechang was seriously the thickest ever. I’ve never seen a place with daechang this thick and plentiful!!!!!! The webfoot octopus was huge too, and there were loads of chicken feet and cuttlefish—just so much to eat..🥹 The seasoning was rich and so good as well. It cut through the richness of the daechang perfectly.

And there was a whole lot of udon noodles underneath.. It was so tasty and such a huge portion that I almost regretted coming for a second round! The udon noodles were wonderfully chewy too, good..^^

If we’d come for our first round, we would have ordered more things, which was a bit of a shame. Still, the main dish was a huge portion, so we had drinks in a great atmosphere for our second round.

Yuumangju was a great place for drinks with tasty bar food in Seomyeon. I totally recommend it to anyone looking for a second-round spot or a bar with a nice atmosphere in Seomyeon. I think I’ll visit again next time I’m in Seomyeon. I’ll try different food then.

The weather is so nice now that having a drink in the evening and taking a walk afterward feels all warm and fuzzy. Seomyeon is still such a hot spot, so it was packed with people, haha. I had a great time in Busan!!
