Veteran General Fish Market Incheon Yeonsu Branch is a sashimi restaurant in Yeonsu-dong at 3rd Floor, Unit 202-1, Yeonsu Square Plaza, 106 Beotkkotro, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. It's open 11:00–23:00 with last order at 21:00, and offers group seating, takeout, delivery, separate men's/women's restrooms, high chairs, and reservations.

I parked in the basement of Yeonsu Square Plaza, right in front of Yeonsu Station, and headed up to the 3rd floor for Veteran General Fish Market Incheon Yeonsu Branch ‼️ Apparently if you park on basement levels 1, 2, or 3 of the building, you get 3 hours free~

Such a huge space! This was a famous spot on the 2nd floor of the building until last year, but it moved up to the 3rd floor this February and the place got way bigger and cleaner 🔥🔥🔥

Jin, Sun, Mi: what is the difference between the lunch sashimi sets?

I came for lunch with my parents and ordered three servings of the lunch special sashimi set (Sun) at ₩16,900 haha! The lunch special sashimi set comes in three tiers — Jin, Sun, Mi. Mi gets you sashimi, sushi, fried food, spicy fish stew, and albap; Sun adds grilled saury on top of that; and Jin adds three more kinds of seafood on top of everything in Sun ✨

Frying your own kimchi pancake at the self-service bar

Beyond the initial spread, you can go to the self-service bar and grab as much as you want of whatever you like 💕 Plus, this is a Yeonsu Station favorite where you can actually make your own kimchi pancake 🥰 We went straight for it and made ourselves a pancake, using plenty of oil to get it nice and crispy >_<

The restaurant is also running a review event ~~~🫶

What comes on the table: sashimi, sushi, fried food and spicy fish stew for three

Starting with the sashimi, the lunch special set dishes began arriving one by one!

It felt like the food just kept coming, endlessly!!! There were so many dishes we actually ran out of table space haha

Assorted sashimi, sushi, fried food, grilled saury, hoemuchim, seaweed soup, and even spicy fish stew — a completely full table haha

You can even add ramen noodles to the spicy fish stew, since unlimited ramen sari (extra noodles) is provided at the self-service bar!

How fresh is the sashimi at Veteran General Fish Market?

They squeezed lemon juice over the sashimi for a fresh, tangy touch, and it really was some fresh sashimi! The lettuce wraps were unlimited too, so we wrapped it up with lettuce and perilla leaves 🌈 This is a Yeonsu-gu favorite where they serve you whatever sashimi is freshest and tastiest that day ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Sushi and fried food in the Sun set

The sushi came out portioned per person, so we enjoyed each piece one by one 🙈 including the salmon sushi I love so much!!! It was so soft, absolutely delicious haha

The fried food was super crispy and piping hot too. There was a good variety and generous amount — zucchini, shrimp, sweet potato fritters and more. Dipped in soy sauce, it was seriously good haha

Stone-pot albap and spicy fish stew with ramen noodles

The albap also came in individual stone pots so it stayed nice and hot. They loaded it up generously with flying fish roe, pickled radish, and seaweed, so every bite of the roe gave a little pop and a burst of savory flavor 🔆🫧🫧🫧

We finished it off by loading the spicy fish stew with ramen noodles >_< The stew was nice and spicy and really delicious!

Is Veteran General Fish Market good for a family gathering?

My parents really enjoyed the meal at this Yeonsu-dong sashimi restaurant :) The space is really wide and clean, making Veteran General Fish Market Incheon Yeonsu Branch a great Yeonsu Station favorite for a group outing!

Especially if you're craving fresh Incheon jeoneo (gizzard shad) sashimi, Incheon mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), Incheon raw shrimp, or salt-grilled shrimp, definitely give this place a try 🐟🐠🦐 I highly, highly recommend it ⭐️ haha
