First visit to Guro in a while, but unfortunately it's a weekday. Came out from round one with gopchang (grilled beef intestines) and felt too unsatisfied to just head home even though it's a weekday. So the question was where to go for round two — and the answer was Monthly Beer Guro Digital Complex Station Branch.

Guro on a "fire Thursday" instead of a fire Friday, haha. The old ex isn't around anymore so Guro means nothing special either way. (The friend I ate with today is already living the married life...)

But since we'd already had gopchang and fried rice for round one, we were looking for somewhere tasty that wouldn't feel too heavy.

The egg-in-hell arrived and the visual alone was wild. Reminds me of the time I tried making eggs-in-hell (well, sort of) at home recently — the whites weren't cooked through, I tried to microwave it a bit more, and ended up accidentally spilling the whole thing. (Though today was very much a soju kind of day.) The egg-in-hell was genuinely delicious, loaded with cheese. With so much good stuff packed in, and bread to dip straight into it, it's a perfect light drinking snack.
