Sweet-bitter matcha bingsu plus crispy-juicy fried chicken — came for a light second round and ended up eating properly at Bidangusul 🍻

Why this new Seomyeon bar works for round two
Around 8:30pm on a weekday, I went with friends for a second round to Bidangusul, a new spot in Seomyeon. We'd already had our first round elsewhere, so we were looking for a Seomyeon Station bar to grab a few light snacks and keep drinking.
Being a new place, the exterior looked clean and I liked it right away — but stepping inside, I liked it even more.
And there was an event banner standing right at the entrance!

Inside Bidangusul Seomyeon: the space and mood
Being new, the whole interior was clean and the tables and space were well arranged, so I felt good the moment I walked in.
Not chaotic, not too dark — just the right vibe for sitting down comfortably with friends and drinking!
There were nice little details scattered around too, so photos came out pretty.

Since we'd already had dinner, this time I went for simple snacks.

Matcha choco ice bingsu: sweet with a bitter edge
While we were having a drink with the basic snacks (crackers), the matcha choco ice bingsu (shaved ice) arrived first.
Ice cream on top of the matcha bingsu, piled high with chocolate balls and crispy Dwaejibar chocolate topping! Add the colorful matcha and the visual was so much prettier than I expected.
Can a bar's bingsu really be this pretty, haha. And the taste? With all those chocolate balls and toppings piled on, I thought it'd be too sweet, but it wasn't overly sweet at all — loved that.
You could really taste the matcha's signature bitterness, and biting into the chocolate balls and crispy Dwaejibar topping here and there made every bite even better.
The amount of chocolate topping was just right, too — not so little that you'd run out and feel disappointed, not so much that it overwhelmed the matcha flavor!
A shot of soju, then a cool bite of bingsu — that sweet-bitter combo worked surprisingly well together.
Fried boneless chicken: crispy outside, juicy inside
Next came the fried boneless chicken!
A plateful of golden-fried boneless chicken came out, wedge fries included, so the portion was pretty generous.
I picked up a piece and tried it — crispy outside, juicy inside. This is exactly what boneless fried chicken should be, haha.
I also liked that the pieces weren't oversized. A shot of soju, then one piece of chicken popped right into your mouth — perfect size!
It was well seasoned as is, and dipped in the sauce that came with it, it was absolutely delicious!
My friend, who knows her food, kept pushing more chicken on me even when I said I was fine — today's bite, haha.
With wedge fries scattered between the chicken pieces, it was easy to pick one up here and there too.
A free ice cream just as we were leaving
While we were drinking soju with friends, the staff brought over some free ice cream, haha.
We were really about to leave... but we couldn't help ordering one more bottle of soju, haha. Finished off that last freebie too before heading out.
Final verdict: worth coming for round one next time
At Bidangusul, this Seomyeon bar, the staff were genuinely kind, and thanks to September's soju event, the drink prices were low too, which was great.
Best of all, the matcha choco ice bingsu was delicious and the fried boneless chicken paired well with soju — for a second-round stop, I ate way too well.
A clean, comfortable spot for a drink with friends — this Seomyeon Station bar, Bidangusul. Next time, I want to come with an empty stomach for round one and properly work through a full spread of the main snacks!
