Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch

Lots of people love pork and seasoned ribs these days, right? I'm someone who often has meat for dinner too, so I went to check out "Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch," a place that's newly opened in Bakdal-dong, Anyang. I kept hearing rave reviews about the meat here, so I figured I had to see for myself.
Where is Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch, and where do you park?

This Anyang Bakdal-dong restaurant, "Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch," sits near Bakdal Market in Manan-gu, Anyang. You can find it easily by address, though it's set slightly back from the main road, which gives it a quiet feel.
There's parking for about 1-2 cars right in front, but if it's full, there's also a free lot at Anyang 7 Dunchi nearby, so parking wasn't much of a worry. Being near the market means there's plenty to browse around, and the neighborhood overall is quiet and cozy — a good match for a barbecue restaurant's vibe. I'd recommend this spot to anyone who usually tries to avoid noisy main-road restaurants or places with tricky parking.
First impressions: hanok-style exterior and well-spaced tables

The entrance catches your eye the moment you arrive — the exterior is really clean-looking. It has that warm, slightly hanok (traditional Korean house)-style interior feel you often see on Instagram these days. Inside, I liked how generously the tables were spaced out — in particular, the gap between tables was quite wide, so it didn't feel cramped at all.
Menu and prices: seasoned Korean pork ribs at 15,000 won a serving

This place has just one main item — seasoned Korean pork ribs. The price was really reasonable at 15,000 won per serving. Dining out prices have gone up a lot lately, and plenty of places feel like a burden these days, but Sannae Sutbul Galbi made me forget that worry entirely. The basic doenjang jjigae was 3,000 won, rice was 1,000 won, and an extra order of steamed egg was 5,000 won.

FYI, they're also running a Naver receipt review event — write a review and get either steamed egg or pork belly skin free! Little perks and thoughtful touches like this were a nice surprise. The menu felt simple but focused on doing one thing well, which made me trust it even more. I'd definitely recommend trying the combo of ribs and doenjang jjigae.
Self-serve vegetables, side dishes and how the charcoal-grilled seasoned ribs taste

Personally, I really liked the quality of the self-refill vegetables and basic side dishes. The shredded scallions and salad were so fresh!

The meat that came out next was really fresh, and it was packed with juices!!

The seasoning isn't too salty or too sweet, and its flavor really comes alive when grilled over charcoal! Wrapped in lettuce, the meat, seasoning, and smoky charcoal aroma all come together — it's basically a rice thief.

The rib meat was tender with the seasoning soaked in well — genuinely delicious. Highly recommend this Bakdal-dong meat restaurant!!
A full dinner: doenjang jjigae, steamed egg and naengmyeon to finish

Taking a spoonful here and there in between bites helped cut through the richness of the meat.

Especially eating it alongside the fluffy, piping-hot steamed egg — the savory flavor just exploded in my mouth!

Finishing off with naengmyeon after the meal made for a fully satisfying dinner! Personally, I'd say I'm 100% coming back. Overall, the quality-to-price ratio was spot on, and I never once felt like the visit was a waste.

Which gatherings suit Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch?
From the seasoning of the meat to the freshness of the ribs themselves, and the service and atmosphere — everything was satisfying. In particular, it felt like the perfect spot for a family gathering or a meal with friends.

On a day when you want a simple, no-fuss meal, Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch could easily be your go-to option. If you're looking for clean, not-too-strong flavored meat and reasonable prices, I'd recommend it without hesitation!
