Planning a rare trip to Seoul, Brivite Seongsu was one place I absolutely wanted to hit in the Seongsu area. It's known for its cute-shaped pasta and unusual gnocchi combos, so I made a reservation the moment I landed in Seoul and headed straight there.

The pink door down the alley and the room inside Brivite Seongsu

Before I even walked in, the pink door tucked inside the alley caught my eye. Facing that stylish European-style exterior already got me excited before the meal even started.

Tables inside range from seating for two up to six, so it works well for couples, friends, or families. I came on a weekday past 7pm — Seongsu is such a popular area that I braced for a wait, but luckily the late hour meant I was seated right away. On weekends or peak hours you might still wait, so it's worth using Naver reservations ahead of time.

Good to know: self-serve bar, restroom key and table call bell

There's a self-bar inside where you can grab basic side dishes and water, and phone charging is free to use too — very convenient.

The restroom is at the back of the restaurant and you need to grab the key. If the key isn't there, someone's using it, so just wait a bit.

Once you've decided on your order, you ring a bell to call staff over — a small touch, but it gives the place a slightly upscale feel.

Delivery and takeout are both available too, and I noticed a lot of people using those options~

There's also an ongoing event where verifying a Naver receipt or a Google Maps review gets you a free ade.
Bri Set or Bit Set? How the Brivite Seongsu menu works

The menu splits into set meals and à la carte. The Bri Set comes with a steak, one main, one side, and two drinks. The Bit Set lets you pick two mains, one side, and two drinks. Popular mains include the Brivite Steak and Salmon Steak Pasta, while the signature dishes are the Green Onion Cream Corn Gnocchi and the Rabbit Pasta.
For sides, the Greek Yogurt & Tomato Salad is popular, and the Spicy Eggplant Fritters are well known too.

What the ₩53,700 Bit Set includes: pasta, gnocchi and fried eggplant

After some deliberation I went with the Bit Set built around the signature dishes. Here's the breakdown by item and price: Rabbit Pasta was ₩18,900, Green Onion Cream Corn Gnocchi was ₩18,900, and Spicy Eggplant Fritters were ₩10,900. Adding orange juice and Sprite at ₩3,500 each, the Bit Set came to ₩53,700 total.

The Green Onion Cream Corn Gnocchi had a fantastic cream sauce that paired beautifully with the gnocchi.

The Rabbit Pasta stands out with the cute rabbit-shaped garnish sitting on top. Basil added a nice fragrance, and the tomato sauce was mild and subtly flavorful rather than sharp.

The Spicy Eggplant Fritters were an unexpected win. I'm not usually a fan of eggplant's mushy texture, but the reviews were good so I ordered it anyway. The batter was super crispy, and the usual slimy eggplant texture was barely noticeable, which made it easy to enjoy. The chipotle sauce on the side, with its spicy kick, cut through the greasiness of the fritter really nicely.
Who should eat at Brivite Seongsu?
Brivite Seongsu is first and foremost a great date spot, so it's a pleasant place to eat with close friends or a partner. The pasta and gnocchi pair so well together that I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to try both in one meal. For those of us visiting Seoul after a long while and wanting a European atmosphere with dressed-up food, it's also a strong pick for a date course. And despite being in Seongsu, the prices aren't intimidating — I noticed quite a few students there too, so I'd say it's good value as well.
When you're craving Seongsu-style pasta and gnocchi, Brivite Seongsu never disappoints.
