Hyehwa adult play, front-row C2-C3 general seats: Suspicious PT Shop

It's already been 8 years since I first met my wife haha. We tend to go on the same kind of dates over and over, so every once in a while we need a little special kick lol. So we went to see Suspicious PT Shop, currently the hottest, number-one-recommended Daehak-ro play in Hyehwa — a 19+ show with a crazy intensity level that's great to watch with friends, a partner, or a spouse.

Where Suspicious PT Shop plays and its show schedule

Nine Theater, where Suspicious PT Shop plays, is on the basement level. The racy poster right at the entrance grabs your attention, so there's no chance of getting lost lol.

The posters on the way down are eye-catching... haha. Apparently the cast are real adult film actors, making it the highest-intensity play in South Korea, so I was already excited before even going in lol. But I tried to act calm going down the stairs so my wife wouldn't scold me for looking too excited.

The sequel to Suspicious Hair Salon

I felt like I'd heard of Suspicious PT Shop somewhere before, and seeing the Suspicious Hair Salon poster at the entrance jogged my memory lol. That show caused a huge sensation as a 19+ play back then and I'd always wanted to see it — so this time I ended up watching its sequel, Suspicious PT Shop, instead haha.

There are also posters introducing the actors. True to a play called Suspicious PT, aren't the actors' bodies just way too good? Haha.

Picking up tickets at Nine Theater and booking tips

After browsing around the entrance, we headed over to pick up our tickets.

We had booked ahead, but it looked like you could also buy leftover tickets on-site. Still, booking online is definitely the way to secure the best seats, right?? Haha. For the highest-intensity 19+ play, you've really got to watch it from the front row!!! If you want a front seat like I did, I'd recommend booking ahead on Naver, Yanolja Noltiket, or Coupang.

Free coffee in the Nine Theater waiting room

I've been to see a few plays in Hyehwa but I'd never seen a venue with an actual waiting room before — Suspicious PT Shop had one haha. It seemed great to arrive early, pick up your ticket, and just relax comfortably beforehand.

There was a free self-serve corner in one part of the waiting room where you could drink brewed coffee, instant coffee, and various teas for free.

There's also a collaboration event running with Iomawa right now. If you fill out an entry slip and drop it in, you get entered into a raffle for various prizes. We figured we had nothing to lose, so we filled one out and put it in lol.

Seats C2 and C3: the front row of general seating

There are special seats up front and general seats behind them. Since you're watching it anyway, front is obviously best, right?? But since it's a small theater and not a musical, I figured the back wouldn't really matter much either.

Since we'd booked seats C2 and C3 ahead of time, we were assigned the very front row within general seating haha.

We arrived an hour early, so the seats were still totally empty haha. Small theater seats in Hyehwa are usually narrow and uncomfortable, but these were wide and cushy like movie theater seats, so we could watch comfortably.

After spending some time relaxing in the waiting room, showtime approached and we went back in.

How racy is the 90-minute show?

The nervous excitement before the play started lol. Since it was the first 19+ play I'd ever seen in my life, I was really looking forward to it haha. And way more people than I expected come out to watch 19+ plays — there wasn't a single empty seat lol. Soon after, the play began, and the roughly 90-minute runtime flew by like a bullet....

Obviously you can't take photos during the show, so speaking purely from my personal impressions — the intensity level was genuinely insane lol. To think you can watch a show at this level in a small theater in South Korea.... My wife and I kept getting startled at different points, honestly. Something you couldn't have even imagined in the past lol — South Korea has really come a long way!!

A different cast each date, plus a photo with the actors

It felt especially meaningful to see, in person, actors I'd previously only ever seen on screen lol. Feat. the cast changes depending on the show date. I deliberately timed my visit to match the date my favorite actor was performing.

I couldn't pass up a commemorative photo with an actor who was practically an idol of mine growing up. I got the photo taken while enduring my wife's side-eye lol. If you're a couple or married pair tired of repetitive dates and everyday routine, or just need a new kind of kick, I recommend this insanely intense Daehak-ro play, Suspicious PT Shop!!!
