Jeju indoor theme park with XR motion capture: Theme Park Toon

While trying to figure out an indoor spot in Jeju to take my kid, we ended up at 'Theme Park Toon.'

Theme Park Toon admission and class prices

Theme Park Toon's admission, as of our visit, is ₩18,000 for adults (age 20+), ₩16,000 for teens (14–19), and ₩13,000 for children (36 months–13 years). You can add an XR 1-ride package to your admission ticket for an extra ₩7,000.

What the entrance and snack corner are like

Theme Park Toon is an indoor theme park that grabs kids' attention right from the entrance with cute giant character sculptures and stylish cartoon artwork.

Inside, there's also a snack corner for a quick bite and a space where you can make your very own t-shirt.

Once you're properly inside the entrance, there's a fun little area with things popular among kids these days — gyro flat balls, wakku balls, and squishy random dumpling 'mallangi' toys — great for just browsing.

Floor 1: frame room, media hall and ball photo zone

Frame room

The frame room on the 1st floor of Theme Park Toon has various media art and uniquely concepted frame photo zones, great for taking pretty life shots with your kid — mine loved it and said it was so pretty. They also sell custom t-shirts, so making one to wear seems like a nice idea too.

Media hall

Step into the round media hall and a whole new world opens up! It's packed with colorful, cute character cushions and various shaped blocks, and my kid couldn't take their eyes off it.

Ball photo zone

This ball photo zone has such a mysterious vibe! Filled with dreamy lighting and dazzling media art balls, it feels like you've stepped into outer space or a fantasy world. It's a spot where you can get a great shot from any angle, so it was the perfect place for us to capture some memories together.

Next to the elevator and stairs, colorful jellies that catch kids' eyes were on sale.

Floor 2: souvenir store and Toon Lounge café

The 2nd floor has an activity zone for various experiences, along with a souvenir store on one side.

Toon Lounge café

This is a spot to relax comfortably before or after touring Theme Park Toon in Jeju. Besides drinks, there's also a cookie making experience kids can join in themselves, which is a super popular program. Looking out at the green forest through the floor-to-ceiling windows also makes it a great healing spot.

Character matching

Beyond just watching, there's indoor game-style content (character matching, ice breakers, etc.) where kids can move their bodies and actually participate, making it perfect for kids who love activity.

Mirror photo zone and gacha shop

This mirror photo zone has such a mysterious atmosphere, like stepping into another dimension. Mirrors on every side give it a dreamy feel.

On the other side, there's a cute little gacha shop. Our little one, who loves gacha draws, obviously couldn't just walk past it. We let her pick one to draw, and surprisingly, the exact toy she wanted came out — she was so happy.

Floor 3: XR experience hall and character motion capture

Go up to the 3rd floor and you can enjoy immersive XR content that blurs the line between virtual and real. (We'd recommend the admission + XR package for this.)

Interactive games

A character your kid draws and colors themselves comes to life as an avatar on screen, with movements reflected in real time — a genuinely amazing experience. My kid was so fascinated and focused here.

Just like that phrase says, it's a place where you can have a truly amazing experience.

Photo box

Use a variety of backgrounds and props to capture special memories in photos with friends, partners, or family. The photo quality is great too, perfect for keeping the memory.

Artist exhibition hall: Bread Barbershop and Meoteol Dosa

Go further inside and you'll find the author exhibition hall, where you can meet familiar cartoon characters kids love and step into the worlds of famous creators.

A giant book-shaped sculpture and spaces recreating animation worlds familiar to both kids and adults, like 'Bread Barbershop' and 'Meoteol Dosa,' are fully reproduced here.

With cute little props and a space that feels like an actual animation set, it's a really great spot for pretty life shots of your kid. She had a blast taking photos with her favorite characters, totally losing track of time.

From all kinds of cartoon characters and fascinating media art to hands-on physical experiences, there was never a dull moment at Theme Park Toon in Jeju! If you're looking for an indoor spot in Jeju to visit with your kid, I definitely recommend putting this on your itinerary.
