Vivid13, this Gwangalli brunch café, sells a huge range of brunch dishes — set menus, pasta, salads, sandwiches, steak, soup — so many kinds that it seems perfect for ordering several dishes to share with a group.

There are also bar-style seats by the window, so if you don't like feeling boxed in, those are a good choice — and they'd also be great for solo brunch.

Vivid13, this Gwangalli brunch spot, is a longtime favorite in the area for classic brunch pasta, said to be made fresh daily with ingredients that come in every morning. All the sauces and ingredients are apparently made and combined in-house to create Vivid13's own flavor.

Ordering is simple through the kiosk set up at every table. There are so many menu items that it was hard to photograph them all. Besides brunch dishes, they also sell coffee, herbal tea, house-made syrup drinks, and beer to go with your meal.

Cooking starts as soon as you order, so it can take a bit of time.

What comes with the Double French Toast Dish

The drinks came out first. A cool, nicely nutty Americano and a smooth, nutty latte!

Then the brunch dish, the Double French Toast Dish, arrived right after — wow, the portion was genuinely generous, and the variety of items on the plate was so good to see.

It's not just plain French toast — there's egg, sausage, a variety of fruit and salad, and even yogurt. Such a solid, well-rounded plate.

I ate the fruit first, and honestly, sweetness really matters with fruit. I could tell right away that Vivid13's fruit was fresh and high quality — the sweetness the moment I bit in was no joke. Genuinely fresh and so sweet and delicious!

The main French toast also cuts through really smoothly.

Once I drizzled on the sweet sauce and took a bite... oh my, this is definitely a great brunch spot in Gwangalli. The moment it hit my mouth, the softness spread with this amazing sweet, nutty flavor. So delicious.

Is Vivid13 worth adding to a Gwangalli date course?

The main French toast was delicious, and everything else on the plate was tasty too — I left feeling that good, happy kind of full. A brunch café where nothing falls short, from the plating to the taste. This is a place I'd definitely recommend for a Gwangalli date course — I had a great meal and a great time.
