On a Saturday evening — our first kid went off to a movie with a friend, so I decided to have a cozy dinner with my second kid instead. We went to Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch, a sushi place in Buldang-dong, Cheonan that both my husband and I love, and that also has udon and fried tofu sushi that our kid adores. Parking was easy and the food was great, so we both left satisfied.

We ordered two sets of the signature Ganghan Sushi, added udon for our second kid, ordered 2 pieces of my beloved scallop sushi, and got egg sushi through the review event.
Pickled ginger, pickled radish, and soy sauce were all set out just the right amount. Ordering the mixed sushi set comes with seafood croquette, mini udon, and miso soup.
Great to enjoy as an appetizer before the meal.

What's in the Ganghan Sushi 12-piece set
Jumbo flounder, raw salmon, bluefin tuna, thick raw squid, gamtae (laver) shrimp, soy sauce shrimp, castella egg, Japanese-style fried tofu sushi
So much fresh, great-textured sushi!! The rice was fluffy and well made, and the ingredients were so fresh there wasn't a hint of fishiness. The chewy flounder, the soft savory salmon, and the bluefin tuna that melts in your mouth! The plump shrimp and the thick, chewy raw squid were exactly my type (basically, everything was delicious, haha). Confirmed: a Buldang-dong sushi spot worth visiting!
There's no wasabi mixed into the sushi, so you can adjust it to your taste. My second kid stole the castella egg sushi and the Japanese-style fried tofu sushi from me, haha — gave it a thumbs up.
