Cheonan sushi lunch with 3 extra fried shrimp: Ganghan Sushi

Today's post is a record of my solo lunch at Ganghan Sushi, a well-known spot in Buldang-dong!
Where is Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch, and what does it cost?
This Cheonan sushi restaurant, Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch, is located right across from Cheonan City Hall.
The signature menu items here are Ganghan Sushi for ₩14,000, Ganghan Special Sushi for ₩17,000, and Omakase Sushi for ₩23,000.
Finding Ganghan Sushi: set back from the road, not on the street front
Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch sits on the walkway on the 1st floor of Buldang-dong First Plaza, so you'll need to look for it inside rather than along the main road.
They have menu photos and prices posted outside, so you can check everything before going in. There's no separate break time, and takeout is available too! Solo dining is also fine, so I went by myself :)
Inside Ganghan Sushi and how the table is set
Self parking registration is available at the store entrance. Don't forget to register your parking after eating! High chairs are also ready, so it seems like a good place to bring kids too!
There are extra chairs by the entrance so you can sit and wait for a bit. The restroom is outside the store, so make sure to get the password before you go!
At Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch, the tables come set with water, pickled radish, ginger, candy, and soy sauce. The water bottle is shared, and it looks like they swap or refill it once it runs out :)
You use the tongs to scoop the pickled radish and ginger onto your small plate :) The candy on the table is great to grab after your meal to freshen your mouth!
Even though I visited at 1pm on a weekday, the place was packed with customers. The atmosphere was clean and quiet too. The inside of Ganghan Sushi Cheonan Buldang Branch isn't huge, but...! Customers kept coming in steadily haha

What comes with the meal: seafood cutlet salad, mini udon, soybean paste soup
The base sides that came with the meal were seafood cutlet cabbage salad, mini udon, and soybean paste soup ~
The seafood cutlet comes whole, with a little cabbage salad underneath!
The seafood cutlet had a nice seafood aroma and you could taste the vegetables in it!
The mini udon was great for filling up a bit before the sushi arrived :) Even as a 'mini,' it actually had quite a lot of noodles.
Soy sauce, pickled radish, and ginger are all right there on the table, so you can scoop some onto your plate while you wait for the sushi. There were a lot of customers, so I think I waited around 10 minutes.
How was the 23,000 won 12-piece omakase sushi set?
The sushi looked incredibly fresh.
The raw fish wasn't cold and the rice wasn't hard, so it was easy to eat! There's no wasabi tucked inside the sushi, so you have to add it yourself.
Kimchi came out as a side dish alongside the sushi too.
The tuna and salmon sushi felt especially delicious :) The abalone came with its innards, and the yukhoe (beef tartare) sushi was topped with gamtae (a type of seaweed) :)
Next time I'd like to try adding some items à la carte too haha
Adding 3 pieces of fried shrimp to the omakase set
The 3 pieces of fried shrimp came out freshly fried, so they were piping hot. Dipped in the accompanying sauce and eaten alongside the sushi, they went together nicely.
