It's dye time again! This time I went all in and covered everything with solid black,,

I'd been here once before, and every time I come the location is great, the interior is clean, and the staff are always so kind. I went again this time and decided to make it my regular salon 😎 I think the biggest reason is that the service quality is consistently good every single time.

You can see from the before photo that my roots were a mess and the color had faded into something awkward — but the after really looks like a different vibe, right? Hair really does make 70% of a first impression. I was genuinely so happy with this.🫶🏻

The moment you walk in, the interior is spotless. It's a coordinated white-and-wood tone, so it feels calm and comfortable,

There's a pretty wide range of magazines to flip through while you wait haha — everything from fashion magazines to interior design mags, all the latest issues. Honestly kind of fun to browse.

They also hand you a cold drink as soon as you walk in.. these little salon snacks always give me a small thrill for some reason

Anti-stain solution and scalp protector before coloring

Before the consultation even started, they carefully applied anti-stain solution and scalp protector first. Just from this step alone you can feel how meticulous they are 😚

Director Donghwa's color consult, choosing a tone based on skin tone

I was assisted by Director Donghwa, and honestly, her presence was on another level 💖 The kind of aura where you can just tell she's a veteran in this field. But she was also super friendly during the consult, so I could talk to her comfortably.

The color consult was seriously detailed too — she laid out an actual color chart and showed me several options based on my skin tone and everyday style, picking together with me. I could really feel the expertise in that process, which built trust. It's not just 'say the color you want and start' — Director Donghwa thinks through what tone actually suits you. She's the best..

Once we decided, she applied the color really thoroughly from both sides. Her hands were fast but also precise and detailed. It was applied evenly from root to tip, so the color went in uniformly with zero streaks.

Scalp massage at the shampoo station

After the wait, the shampoo was refreshing and thorough. Isn't a scalp massage at the salon just the absolute best thing ever >_< For that moment, it was pure healing.

Final styling and blow-dry result

Once everything was done, I really loved the color haha. It's definitely much cleaner-looking now, which I love

They finished up with pretty styling too, so I went home in a great mood. The blow-dry was seriously master-level work..

When you get a director with fast, precise hands, the whole appointment just feels efficient and the result feels satisfying too. The flow from consult to service to finishing touches was so smooth that I ended up wanting to come back.
