I was shopping around Yeouido and got hungry, so I looked for somewhere quick to eat and ended up at Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch. Since it's inside IFC Mall, it's pretty accessible, and I especially liked that it sits along the underground route connecting Yeouido Station to IFC Mall — handy even on bad-weather days. If you're shopping at IFC Mall or have plans in Yeouido and want a simple meal without going far, this place is worth knowing about.

As the name suggests, Hyeonseonine is a snack restaurant built around tteokbokki. Arriving at the storefront, the bold red sign reading "Hyeonseonine Tteokbokki" made it easy to spot from a distance. It sits right along the underground passage of IFC Mall, so it's convenient to reach from Yeouido Station.

When we visited, the gimbap had run out, so they gave us a rice ball instead — honestly, I personally like the rice ball better haha.

Since it's on the underground route connecting Yeouido Station to IFC Mall, it's easy to drop by before or after shopping, and convenient too if you don't feel like walking far to find somewhere to eat inside IFC Mall. Especially when you want a simple meal in Yeouido rather than something elaborate, nothing beats a snack restaurant like this. With the tteokbokki plus sundae and fritters, and the rice ball on top, it ended up more filling than expected — I went in for a light bite and came out having had a proper meal.

Its location, easy to reach from both Yeouido Station and IFC Mall, was especially a strong point.
