Yeoido two-floor Korean BBQ for private party bookings: Smile Samgyeop

Today I visited Smile Samgyeop in Yeoido, which has become a beloved go-to spot for office workers in the area! 😊

Since opening in 2022, about 200,000 customers have visited, and they've served a whopping 300,000 servings of pork and used 200,000 kg of minari (water dropwort) — you can really feel how steadily loved this place is by nearby office workers.

After trying it myself, I totally get why so many people come here! 🤭

Above all, the meat quality was really good and delicious. You could tell the meat was high quality, and they piled on plenty of crisp, fragrant minari, which paired amazingly well with the meat 🌿🥩

Smile Samgyeop Main Branch is at 1st Floor Units 108, 109, Oryun Building, 34 Gukjegeumyung-ro 8-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. It's about 356m from Saetgang Station Exit 1, and also walkable from Yeouido Station Exit 5.

Two floors: can you book out Smile Samgyeop for a group dinner?

Smile Samgyeop in Yeoido has a duplex layout. The first floor seats about 30, the second floor about 40, and depending on the seating arrangement, 3–5 more tables can be added.

Private bookings are possible (group use and dinners welcome / can be used as an independent space), so it's great for group gatherings or work dinners, and being able to use the space privately is another plus! 😊

As soon as I walked in, I liked how clean and pleasant the overall atmosphere was! 😊 I looked around at the tables and the surrounding space too, and everything was neatly kept, so I could eat comfortably and happily the whole time. ✨

The table spacing and overall tidiness of the place were clean too, so I think even people who care a lot about hygiene will be satisfied! 👍🏻

We ordered the kimchi minari ogeopsal (pork belly) along with bibim naengmyeon (cold spicy noodles)! 🌿🥩 The meat quality was great and it was piled high with minari, so it was really delicious 😋

And the complimentary kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) was genuinely delicious too — perfect to eat alongside the meat! 🍲❤️

Side dishes and the complimentary kimchi jjigae

The basic side dishes were generous too! 😊 Kimchi, seasoning sauce, sliced green onions, and various vegetables come as standard, and on top of that a kimchi jjigae also came out, which was great to pair with the meat.

I especially loved that the kimchi jjigae comes as a default! 🍲

Does the staff grill the kimchi minari ogeopsal for you?

We ordered the Smile Kimchi Minari Ogeopsal (pork belly)! 🥩🌿 A staff member grilled the meat for us themselves, so we could eat comfortably without lifting a finger~

Ugh... just sending these mouthwatering photos makes me want to eat it again,, I ate it so, so deliciously that I want to go back again, haha!

The meat quality was great and it was full of juices, so it was seriously so delicious! 😋🔥 Eating it together with the generous minari and grilled kimchi made the combination absolutely top-tier ❤️

Finishing with Smile's bibim naengmyeon

The bibim naengmyeon came with mul naengmyeon (cold noodle) broth on the side, and I tried adding a little bit in — eating it slightly moist made it even more delicious! 😋✨ The seasoning sauce here in particular was really tasty, which made the bibim naengmyeon feel even better. It was perfect for finishing off the meat with something tangy and sweet! 🥩

Overall, the staff were really kind, and the meat quality was great and delicious, so it was a satisfying meal! 😊 If you're looking for a great samgyeopsal spot in Yeoido, I recommend Smile Samgyeop!
