In short

Pyu Euljiro is a Western dining restaurant on the first floor of a commercial building near Euljiro 3-ga Station in Jung-gu, Seoul. Lunching with a child, the writer ordered the ragu pasta (25,000 won) and the charcoal-grilled octopus with romesco (34,000 won), and the kitchen served the spicy romesco sauce on the side so the child could eat the octopus too. Between the children's tableware and 60 minutes of free parking, Pyu Euljiro works well for a family meal out.

Where is Pyu Euljiro, and how is the parking?

Pyu Euljiro is a Western dining restaurant on the first floor of a commercial building right near Euljiro 3-ga Station, with 60 minutes of free parking that can be combined with other stores in the same building. There's no separate break time.

After weeks of nothing but donkatsu (breaded pork cutlet) places with my kid, I wanted a nicer-atmosphere meal for the two of us for once, and that's how I ended up at Pyu Euljiro. It's right by Euljiro 3-ga Station, so access was excellent, and since we drove, parking availability was hugely important — and it delivered on that too.

I'd already booked through Naver Reservation before heading over. Being on the first floor of the building made the space feel very clean, and the restroom was right next to it, which made it really convenient to visit with a kid.

Inside Pyu Euljiro: the 70-pyeong room and the seating

The main hall at Pyu Euljiro has a long table down the middle with seating on both sides and along the edges. Since we'd reserved ahead, we were seated right away.

The tableware and menu were neatly laid out! The water bottle was so cute I ended up taking a photo of it, haha.

Luckily we went early for lunch so there weren't many people at the tables yet — once peak lunch hour hit, the place filled right up and got lively! The very clean interior was exactly my style.

What we ordered for lunch with a child

The menu had so much variety I photographed nearly every page. Since my kid loves octopus, we made the charcoal-grilled octopus with romesco our base order, and after some deliberation on a second dish, my kid asked for ragu pasta too, so we ordered that as well.

Pyu Euljiro is a 70-pyeong dining restaurant where you can slip away from a busy day and spend a comfortable little while.

Every detail of the interior at Pyu Euljiro is so clean that you end up wanting to look around the whole place. It seems like it would also make a great spot for a blind date, and among the 4-person tables, some have a privacy divider, which looked good for a more private meal. Given how spacious it is, it seems like an excellent choice not just for gatherings but for family outings too. There was also a drinks menu, and since my kid wanted juice, we ordered an orange juice as well.

The welcome card and the children's tableware

If you make a reservation at Pyu Euljiro, a greeting card starting with "Welcome, Mr./Ms. ___" is waiting on your table — it made me feel well taken care of, and I thought, this is a place that pays attention to every little detail.

They also prepared children's tableware for us since we came with a kid, which I was so grateful for. You can really feel the thoughtfulness toward families here!

Ragu pasta, 25,000 won: beef, pork, duck and beef tendon sauce

Our ragu pasta (₩25,000). It's not just beef — the sauce is simmered down with beef, pork, duck, and beef tendon (suji), which made the flavor feel especially special. On top of the meaty richness, there was a subtle duck flavor too, and I was genuinely surprised by how much more refined it tasted compared to the ragu we usually eat.

At first glance I wondered if there wasn't enough sauce, but surprisingly the seasoning was perfectly balanced — it was delicious even eaten plain. Having such a refined pasta after a long time felt genuinely healing.

My kid kept saying it was so good and asking me to cut more pieces. Kids really do know what's delicious!

The noodles were cooked to just the right doneness too, the softness wrapping around your mouth so perfectly!! Now that I've had this ragu, I'll probably compare every other ragu pasta to it from now on, ha, sob.

Charcoal octopus with romesco, 34,000 won: spicy sauce on the side

Our second dish was charcoal-grilled octopus with romesco (₩34,000). Since we were told the sauce was spicy, I asked if they could serve it separately, and they gladly did — I really appreciated that. The octopus came pre-coated in a sweet sauce by default, which was great for my kid, and it was so tender that she kept praising me, asking how I managed to order something this delicious, haha.

I cut up the octopus and dipped it into the separately served spicy sauce, and oh my, it was soooo good..! As someone who loves spicy flavors, I can't forget that sauce..!! It was so good I even mixed some into the pasta, haha.

Are two dishes enough for two people?

We ordered two dishes at Pyu Euljiro — the ragu pasta and the charcoal-grilled octopus with romesco — and it turned out to be just the right amount to share between me and my kid, so I felt good about ordering both. I'd worried the portions might be small, but that worry turned out to be unnecessary.

Next time I want to try the yuzu chicken thigh grill..!! It has a bit of a barbecue flavor, and paired with garlic flakes, dipped into the wood ear mushroom sauce, it sounds absolutely amazing.

Would I bring the family back to Pyu Euljiro?

Pyu Euljiro turned out to be a lunch spot in Euljiro I'd happily bring my parents to as well. Atmosphere, friendliness, parking, restroom — nothing was lacking, and it was an overall very satisfying restaurant. I'd love to come back for a family meal at Christmas, so I should look into booking ahead. Haha.
