I was looking for somewhere to have lunch in Changwon and ended up at Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang Sangnam Main Branch. I usually love a hearty Korean meal, so this time I picked a place where I could try a variety of seasonal dishes. I ordered the signature Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang set. Anyeosane's signature!! It was a truly generous 10-dish spread. Yeongho Jinmi rice paired with lily-bulb sundubu jjigae (soft tofu hot pot).

The spicy sundubu jjigae!! came out first. The sundubu jjigae could be chosen in two bases, and I went with the spicy one.

Wow, the broth was truly amazing.

The 10-dish set was laid out, and each dish looked neat and delicious. Pork bulgogi, braised mackerel, seasoned cockle muchim, japchae, eggplant, and more — a full table!! I felt full just looking at it.

And the gondeurae rice was really, really delicious!!!!!!

Eating so many different dishes at once made it feel like a proper meal. The seasoning wasn't too strong, so you could really taste the ingredients themselves, which went well with the rice — and tasting a little of everything, I somehow finished a whole bowl of rice in no time.

The side dish worth remembering: pork bulgogi

Out of the whole 10-dish set at Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang, the pork bulgogi personally stood out the most to me.

It was delicious from the first bite, and I kept going back for more — the seasoning really matched the rice. The meat was tender too, so eating it with rice kept me coming back for another bite.

Overall, the food felt less about bold flavors and more like a carefully prepared home-cooked meal, which I liked even more.
