Sangnam-dong Korean restaurant Sunday lunch, 10-dish set: Anyeosane
In short
Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang Sangnam Main Branch (안여사네 제철한상 상남본점) is a Korean restaurant in Sangnam-dong, Changwon, that serves a 10-dish set meal with a hot pot and side dishes all on one table. A couple visited on a Sunday at 1pm with a Naver reservation and ordered the 10-dish set for two with the spicy broth, which came with clam sundubu (soft tofu) hot pot, jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork), braised mackerel, seasoned cockles, japchae (glass noodles) and gondeurae rice. The rich, fiery spicy sundubu hot pot was the most memorable part of the meal.

On Sunday morning my husband and I played a round of screen golf, and afterward I really wanted a hearty Korean meal for lunch. So we headed to Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang, a Korean restaurant in Sangnam-dong, Changwon, which I'd already booked through Naver.
We ordered the 10-Dish Set for two, choosing the spicy broth over the mild clear broth for our hot pot. The broth was rich and spicy — the most memorable thing we ate that day. With jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork), braised mackerel, seasoned cockles, japchae, and gondeurae rice all coming out together, it was a great lunch pick when you want to taste a bit of everything.

Where is Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang in Changwon, and what are the hours and parking?
Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang Sangnam Main Branch is located at 10 Madimi-ro 10beon-gil, Unit 101, Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea. It's open Tuesday to Sunday, 11:30–22:00, with a break time from 15:00–17:00, last order at 21:00, and closed every Monday. My husband and I visited around 1pm on a Sunday. Since it was weekend lunchtime, we made a reservation for two on Naver ahead of time just in case.
🚗 Parking is available right in front of the restaurant. When I visited, there was space for about 2 cars right out front, and luckily a spot was open, so we parked right away.

Parking in Sangnam-dong can be tricky depending on the time of day, so if you're driving, it might be worth checking parking availability when you make your reservation.
Inside Anyeosane: seating and mood for a family meal
Overall, the inside of Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang felt clean and comfortable. There are open table seats as well as seats divided by curtains and partitions.

There were open table seats, plus seats separated by red curtains and partitions. It's not a fully closed room, but it felt appropriately separated from the neighboring table, which made the meal a bit more comfortable.

It's fine for a casual lunch for two, but since so many Korean dishes come out at once and the seating is sectioned off, it also looked like a good spot for a meal with parents or a family visit.

On one side of the restaurant, the rice varieties and sesame oil they use were on display.
What comes with the Anyeosane 10-dish set at 18,000 won?
What we ordered was the Anyeosane 10-Dish Set, ₩18,000 per person.

Besides what we ordered, there was also a more budget-friendly set meal option, which looked like it would work well for an office worker's lunch too.

Our 10-dish set came with clam sundubu (soft tofu) hot pot, jeyuk, braised mackerel, seasoned cockles, japchae, gondeurae rice, and seasonal side dishes.

Rather than one main dish with a few basic sides, we got to taste a little bit of many different Korean dishes at once, which made the spread feel quite generous for two people at lunch. On the day I visited, there was also an eggplant dish, and apparently the side dishes change depending on what's in season. So depending on when you visit, some of the side dishes may differ from what I had.
The best dish: spicy clam sundubu hot pot
For the hot pot broth, we could choose between a mild clear broth and a spicy broth. We went with the red spicy broth!

This hot pot was the best thing in the whole 10-dish set for me. It was loaded with soft tofu, clams, mushrooms, and vegetables, and as it kept bubbling away, the broth got richer and richer. It wasn't just spicy for the sake of being spicy — it was rich, sharp, and the broth itself tasted genuinely good.
After one spoonful I kept going back for more of the broth, and eating it made me think noodles — ramyeon or udon — added at the end would be amazing too, haha.
From jeyuk to seasoned cockles: how were the side dishes seasoned?
Besides the hot pot, jeyuk, braised mackerel, seasoned cockles, and japchae also came out.

Overall, each side dish had its own seasoning, but nothing tasted overly salty.

So instead of sticking to one or two sides, we ended up going back and forth between all of them until everything was gone.
Gondeurae rice instead of plain white rice
The rice that came with the Anyeosane 10-dish set was gondeurae (thistle) rice instead of plain white rice.

The gondeurae itself had a light seasoning, so mixing it into the rice made it just salty enough and really tasty.

With so many side dishes, I didn't expect much from the rice itself, but the gondeurae rice ended up getting a surprising amount of attention too.
Ending the meal with plum tea
After finishing the whole spread, we were given plum tea for dessert. We were pretty full after the hot pot and jeyuk, but a cup of plum tea at the end cleaned up the palate and made for a nice, clean finish to the meal.

Sunday lunch at Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang, summed up
I was craving Korean food for lunch, and if you like eating a bit of everything the way we do, the 10-dish set is a great fit. Instead of just one hot pot and a few basic sides, you get jeyuk, braised mackerel, seasoned cockles, japchae, and gondeurae rice all together, which made for a definitely filling meal.
The seasoning on the side dishes was well balanced overall, but personally, what stuck with me most was the spicy sundubu hot pot! The broth was rich and sharp, and I think I'd choose the spicy broth again next time. Finishing with plum tea afterward was a nice way to wrap things up.
If you're in Sangnam-dong and want to try a variety of Korean dishes rather than just one menu item, or you're looking for a Sangnam-dong Korean restaurant to visit with your parents, Anyeosane Jecheol Hansang is worth considering for lunch.
