Gumi café with toddler coloring pages and peanut cream latte: Otters
In short
Otters Jisan Saetgang Main Branch is a large bakery café on Seonsan-daero in Gumi, Gyeongsangbuk-do, with a big parking lot and a nursing room that make it easy to visit with a child. Visiting with her 28-month-old daughter, the writer ordered the autumn menu's macadamia vanilla cream latte and peanut cream latte along with melon cream bread and a chestnut cream doughnut, and the owner brought coloring pages for the toddler. While the little one coloured, mom got to drink her coffee in peace — which is why Otters Jisan Saetgang is worth the trip with kids in Gumi.

Why Otters was easy with a 28-month-old, just the two of us
Otters Jisan Saetgang is a pretty large café, so bringing a toddler along didn't feel stressful at all. When you go to a café with a kid, you naturally prefer somewhere spacious over somewhere cramped, right? With my 28-month-old on the move, the space between seats and the overall roominess mattered more than I expected, haha. Otters was a café where it was easy to just settle in and stay a while ♡
Parking at Otters Jisan Saetgang
Room for strollers and car seats
One of the first things I check when going to a café with my kid — parking, lol. Otters Jisan Saetgang has a large parking lot, so I could visit without worrying about it. When you're juggling the kid, the bag, the stroller and everything else, easy parking is a genuinely big plus (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و
Inside Otters: a wide, comfortable space
Once inside, the whole place felt spacious and comfortable, with no sense of being cramped. Personally, I love this kind of roomy space for cafés I visit with my kid — I can have a coffee while she gets to play around a bit more freely ♡ And sure enough, my daughter had a great time the whole visit.

Visiting with a child? Check the nursing room
And here's one of the biggest reasons I love Otters — there's a nursing room! When you're out at cafés with a young child, having a nursing room or some space to quickly tend to them really matters. Especially with a little one, sudden needs like nursing or a diaper change come up, so having a nursing room on hand was such a relief as a mom (๑❛ᴗ❛๑)♡
The bakery counter and Holy & Jolly doughnuts
Otters Jisan Saetgang has such a wide range of baked goods that just drinking coffee here would feel like a waste. Isn't browsing the bread case at a café half the fun? I spent a long while deciding what to get, lol.
The owner couple at Otters are genuinely kind
Another reason I keep coming back to Otters — the owner couple are genuinely kind (ღ˘⌣˘ღ) Seeing that I'd come with my daughter, they were so warm toward her, and as a mom that just made my heart happy.
A case full of Holy & Jolly doughnuts
And you can't leave out the doughnuts at Otters! The case is packed with Holy & Jolly doughnuts of every kind, so doughnut lovers will have a lot of fun picking one. The colorful display catches your eye right away ♡
Tips for your visit to Otters Jisan Saetgang
If you're visiting with a kid, it helps to check the nursing room's location ahead of time, and once inside, take your time browsing the bakery case first. With so many doughnut varieties, picking one is honestly pretty fun, haha.

If you visit in autumn, definitely try the macadamia vanilla cream latte and the peanut cream latte! For the cream lattes, I'd recommend spooning up the cream first before drinking the latte ♡
Autumn's new melon cream bread
This time I also picked up the new autumn melon cream bread. With so many bread varieties, just looking around was fun, and choosing what to pair with the coffee was another little joy (๑❛ᴗ❛๑)//

Looking for a bakery café in Gumi?
If you're after a café in Gumi with a wide variety of bakery goods, Otters is worth checking out. Beyond the coffee menu, the breads and doughnuts are so varied that it's more than just grabbing a cup and leaving — you get the dessert experience too. Bread-loving moms like me just can't walk past it, lol.

A Gumi café you can also rent for events
Otters Jisan Saetgang also offers venue rental, apparently. So it's worth knowing about not just as a place for coffee, but also for anyone looking for a space for gatherings or events with a group.

Why I keep coming back to Otters Jisan Saetgang
This wasn't my first time at Otters Jisan Saetgang — I'd already been many times before, haha. The reason I love it so much is still the same: spacious and comfortable. It's easy with a kid in tow, and just as good for a relaxed coffee and dessert with other adults.

Autumn new drinks: macadamia vanilla cream latte and peanut cream latte
This time I ordered the new menu items that really capture the feel of autumn! Autumn always makes me think of nutty, sweet flavors, and this time we chose the macadamia vanilla cream latte and the peanut cream latte (๑>◡<๑)/
How the macadamia vanilla cream latte tastes
First up, the macadamia vanilla cream latte! Just looking at the fluffy cloud of cream on top gave off a whole sweet vibe.
This one's meant to be eaten by spooning up the cream first, then drinking the latte, rather than sipping it straight away.
I tried the recommended way and scooped up the cream first — it was seriously so smooth ♡ Sweet, soft cream melting in your mouth, and then the latte after that with its nutty, smooth coffee flavor — the combination was really good (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و
How the peanut cream latte tastes
Second was the peanut cream latte. True to its name, it had a nutty peanut flavor. That distinctive peanut nuttiness would suit anyone who likes a sweet latte. Switching between the macadamia vanilla cream latte and the peanut cream latte, I liked how each had its own charm ♡
🍈 Melon cream bread
I also picked up the melon cream bread that caught my eye at the bakery counter (๑>◡<๑)/ As a melon-loving mom, I couldn't walk past this, lol. One bite in, and there was plenty of sweet cream tucked between soft, fluffy bread — great with coffee ♡
There was also that gentle, sweet melon aroma, so it made for a lovely dessert. Rather than feeling heavy or overly sweet, the soft cream and bread combo worked really well together.
Chestnut cream doughnut
Out of everything, the one I picked was the chestnut cream doughnut. Such a perfect match for autumn, right?
One bite in, you get that nutty, sweet chestnut flavor that paired really well with the cream — personally I loved it (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و With coffee, it was the perfect dessert-time pick.

A kid's drink and coloring pages from the owner
My 28-month-old couldn't just sit and watch, lol. So I got her a Pororo drink and an apple juice!
Sure enough, having her own drink made her so happy (๑>◡<๑)♡ Mom with a coffee, daughter with her own drink — we enjoyed our café time together like that, haha.
The little touches for children at Otters
And here's the moment that really stuck with me that day! The owner brought over coloring pages for my daughter. Seeing that she was there with a kid, they handed her some coloring pages, and as her mom, I was genuinely touched ㅠㅠ♡
A toddler happily coloring away
As soon as she got the coloring pages, my daughter sat right down and started coloring away happily, lol. For a 28-month-old, just sitting still at a café isn't always easy, but with the coloring she stayed focused and played happily for a good while. Thanks to that, I got to enjoy my coffee at ease too (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)

A large Gumi café that's great to visit with kids
I'd love to recommend Otters to anyone in Gumi looking for a café to visit with kids. Spacious, a wide bakery selection, easy parking, and even a nursing room — it felt like it had everything you'd want for a visit with a little one.
Otters Jisan Saetgang at a glance
From my own visit, here's the wrap-up: plenty of space to relax, a large parking lot so parking isn't a worry, a wide range of breads and doughnuts, and a nursing room that made things easy with my daughter along. Above all, the owner couple were kind and warm toward my kid too, so I left feeling great. No wonder I've already been back so many times (๑>◡<๑)/

Final verdict on Otters Jisan Saetgang
Otters Jisan Saetgang Main Branch was satisfying yet again ♡ This time especially, visiting solo with my 28-month-old, they even brought out coloring pages, so while she happily colored away, I got to enjoy coffee and dessert a bit more at ease, haha. The macadamia vanilla cream latte had truly delicious, smooth cream, and the peanut cream latte had a lovely nutty charm. The chestnut cream doughnut was so good too — gone in a flash with the coffee, lol.

Spacious and comfortable, Otters Jisan Saetgang Main Branch was a great place to visit with my kid! If you're in Gumi looking for somewhere to take your child, a large Gumi café, or a Gumi bakery café, it's worth a visit ♡ I feel like I'll be back again (๑❛ᴗ❛๑)// hehe
