Gangnam Station Italian restaurant across 3 floors: The Mignon Seoul
In short
The Mignon Seoul is a Western restaurant on Gangnam-daero 102-gil, between Gangnam Station and Sinnonhyeon Station in Seoul, with seating spread over three floors. Three dishes came to 64,000 won: truffle mushroom gnocchi at 23,000 won, popover pancake at 18,000 won and seafood oil pasta at 23,000 won, and the rich gnocchi balanced the light oil pasta well when shared. The Mignon Seoul suits long, photo-heavy get-togethers such as wedding invitation meetups with friends.

These days when I make plans with friends, the food has to be good, but I also find myself looking for a place with good vibes haha

What is The Mignon Seoul near Gangnam Station like?
This time I visited The Mignon Seoul on Gangnam-daero 102-gil! The space runs from the 1st to the 3rd floor, so it was bigger than I expected, and it had a clean, upscale atmosphere.

As soon as I walked in, the interior was tidy and the tables weren't cramped, so I thought it would be great for a relaxed meal with friends :) It seemed especially well-suited for gatherings like engagement party meetups where you take a lot of photos and talk for a long time, or for setting a nice mood for a friend's birthday or anniversary.

It also looked like a good spot for a group gathering, so I'd love to come back next time with a bigger group of friends♥

Three dishes for ₩64,000 — what did I order?
I ordered a total of three dishes that day!
- Truffle mushroom gnocchi ₩23,000
- Popover pancake ₩18,000
- Seafood oil pasta ₩23,000
- Total: ₩64,000!!

The combination itself was so satisfying that going back and forth between the three dishes, I never got tired of them haha
Truffle mushroom gnocchi ₩23,000
First, the dish I was most looking forward to — truffle mushroom gnocchi! If you like gnocchi, this is definitely worth trying. The chewy yet soft gnocchi paired well with the savory mushrooms, and the distinct truffle aroma rose up subtly, so the flavor hit me right from the first bite haha

If the truffle scent is too strong, it can feel overwhelming after a few bites, but the gnocchi I had this time blended creamily and savorily so well that I kept reaching for more haha The sauce coated the gnocchi nicely too, so I ended up scraping the plate clean until the last bite! It was the richest and heaviest of the three dishes, so ordering it alongside the others made for a good balance :)

Popover pancake ₩18,000
Next up, the one that caught my eye visually from the start — the popover pancake! It's completely different from the flat pancake you'd normally picture, so I found myself taking photos the moment it arrived lol It was fluffy with a slightly crispy edge, while the inside was light and soft, making it easy to enjoy like a brunch dish.

When the gnocchi or pasta started to feel a bit heavy, taking a bite of the popover pancake cleansed the palate a bit haha It's great to pair alongside the mains, and above all it really elevates the table's mood, so it'd be a good order for an engagement party meetup or a date too haha

Seafood oil pasta ₩23,000
Last, the seafood oil pasta! I personally love oil pasta, so I picked it as soon as I saw it on the menu. Oil pasta can end up too greasy or, on the flip side, bland, but The Mignon Seoul's seafood oil pasta naturally blended the umami of the seafood with the savoriness of the oil, making it easy to enjoy without feeling heavy!!
The noodles were well seasoned too, and eating them together with the seafood brought out even more flavor. If the truffle gnocchi was rich and creamy, the seafood oil pasta felt cleaner and lighter, so ordering both together was really a great choice♥

How is it as an engagement party or group gathering venue?
Rather than sticking to one dish, taking turns with a bite of gnocchi, a bite of pasta, a bite of popover pancake made for a really great combination haha And beyond the food, I loved the space itself at The Mignon Seoul haha

With floors from 1 to 3, it looked versatile enough to use for anything from small get-togethers to gatherings with many people. The atmosphere was clean but not too casual — upscale enough that photos turned out nicely haha So I'd especially recommend it to anyone looking for an engagement party venue! It felt like a great atmosphere for family gatherings too, enjoying good food, taking photos, and chatting, and it suited days when you want to set up something a bit more special than your average noisy restaurant :)

All three dishes I ordered that day were fully satisfying! The savory, rich truffle mushroom gnocchi, the fluffy and unique popover pancake, and the clean, easy-to-eat seafood oil pasta — each had such a different style that eating all three together was really great.

If you're visiting with several people, I'd especially recommend ordering a variety of dishes and sharing them haha The Mignon Seoul, with its clean and upscale atmosphere and food that was delicious dish after dish — it's a place I'd want to revisit for engagement parties, dates, friend gatherings, or family meals whenever I want to eat in a place with a good mood♥
