Hello~! It's Eunieuni!
I went to Nani, a spot in Yeouido known for great side dishes to go with drinks — from lamb to yakisoba, they've got a really wide range of delicious anju (Korean bar snacks) haha. Parking isn't easy in Yeouido, but Nani makes that part easy too! Here's my real review~
Where is Nani Yeouido Branch, and what are the window seats like?
Nani Yeouido Branch is on the 3rd floor of the S-TRENUE Building. The space is bigger than I expected, with all kinds of seating.

It's a great spot for a date, and there's group seating that fits a lot of people, so it also seems perfect for a work dinner. The window seats have an open view of Yeouido that looked so nice! Since all the buildings in Yeouido are tall, pretty much every view is good, right? Haha.
Even on a weekday evening, a lot of seats were already taken. I'd really recommend booking ahead through Naver reservations!

The seating is decorated in a cute style that matches the izakaya concept. That's probably why you see such a wide age range of visitors! It looked good for both nearby office workers and friend meetups. The seats are also private, which is a nice touch.
Nani Yeouido Branch menu and what we ordered
Nani Yeouido Branch's menu is really varied, with some items you wouldn't expect at a typical izakaya! Some menu items aren't even listed on Naver, so I'm uploading photos here!

So many menu options haha. The drink selection is also pretty extensive. We ordered the premium lamb shoulder rack (₩43,000) and the perilla oil octopus pasta (₩26,000).
Premium lamb shoulder rack, ₩43,000, grilled on a hot plate
Nani Yeouido Branch's premium lamb shoulder rack (₩43,000) came out first! The visual was amazing, oh my. And the hot plate underneath was really hot, so it kept sizzling and stayed warm the whole time.

Usually when you go for lamb, it gets hot and hectic with all the grilling, but having it pre-grilled was really nice! Compared to those chaotic yangkkochi (grilled skewer) places, you get to eat comfortably here — that's a big plus. Just hearing that sizzling sound makes you happy, doesn't it? Haha.

I cut into it eagerly to enjoy it properly. Even while cutting, any slightly underdone part kept cooking right there on the hot plate!
Two sauces with the lamb: cumin and basil
There were also two sauces — a basil sauce and the zira (cumin) sauce that usually comes with yangkkochi — so we could each dip according to our taste haha. We loved the zira sauce and ate it up well, and I love basil so I was thrilled, but even my husband, who doesn't usually like basil, said the sauce was good and ate it happily! Getting two sauces made it even better!

Perilla oil octopus pasta, ₩26,000, loaded with salted fermented octopus
Nani Yeouido Branch's perilla oil octopus pasta (₩26,000) also arrived haha. It came with perilla leaves and a generous amount of salted fermented octopus to mix in, and it was such a treat! A gentle whiff of perilla oil in the air. They gave us separate chopsticks just for mixing the perilla leaves and octopus, so we gave it a good shake and mixed it up haha. Loved that thoughtful little detail.

The look kind of resembles golbaengi muchim (spicy whelk salad), doesn't it? Haha. The combination of perilla oil and salted fermented octopus was better than I expected?! The octopus was generous too, so there was still plenty left even down to the last bite.

Filling up on protein with the lamb ribs and pairing it with the perilla octopus pasta was really delicious haha. The lamb ribs come as three pieces but the portion is fairly big, so it ended up being a filling meal. If you like lamb ribs, this is a real recommendation!
Verdict: looking for quality izakaya food in Yeouido?
Nani is a great izakaya for both team dinners and dates! The quality of the side dishes really stood out compared to other izakayas haha. There are plenty of bars in Yeouido, but if you're looking for one with genuinely good quality, I'd recommend giving Nani a visit~
