Paid parking near a Namcheon-dong, Busan BBQ spot: Geobugi Dongne
In short
Geobugi Dongne Namcheon Branch is a 14-day aged pork belly restaurant that recently opened on Suyeongno in Namcheon-dong, Suyeong, Busan. Geobugi Dongne offers no parking of its own, so this family dinner visit maps four paid parking lots a 1-5 minute walk away, then covers the couple set 500g (32,500 won), freshly cooked pot rice for two (4,000 won) and doenjang-jjigae, fermented soybean stew, for two (4,000 won). Aged pork, shabu-shabu and a kids' video room in one place make Geobugi Dongne an easy choice for dinner with children.

Namcheon-dong's go-to pork belly spot 14-day aged meat Great value for money
Geobugi Dongne Namcheon Branch
Geobugi Dongne, already famous as a chain, recently opened a branch in Namcheon-dong, so I went for dinner out with my family.
Where to park at Geobugi Dongne Namcheon Branch: four paid lots nearby
Geobugi Dongne Namcheon Branch doesn't offer parking support, so you'll need to use a nearby paid lot. There are four within a 1–5 minute walk.
- Jeongam Building Parking Lot: 1 minute walk
- Smile Parking Lot: 2 minute walk
- Leum Palace Parking Lot: 2 minute walk
- Glory Parking Lot: 5 minute walk

The building is finished in red brick with a grand-opening ribbon hanging at the entrance — it definitely had that freshly-opened feel.

Inside Geobugi Dongne: seating and the open aged-meat fridge
Walking inside, the round grill tables paired with the brick interior and lighting gave it a luxurious yet cozy feel, and the seats were comfortable couch-style. A separate space further inside looked set up for group seating, with chairs arranged instead of couches.

Next to the counter is a fridge holding the aged cuts of meat. When an order comes in, they pull the meat straight from here, slice it, weigh it on a scale, and bring it to your table. Being able to see this open process really builds trust, haha.

Is Geobugi Dongne good with kids? Video room and CCTV
On the way to the restroom, further inside the restaurant, there's a kids' video room!! While the kids spend time in there, parents get to finish their meal at a relaxed pace — such a lifesaver for moms and dads, haha. If you're visiting with a child like we did, this space is a huge plus.

While eating, you can also check on your kid playing in the video room in real time via the CCTV screen mounted on the wall inside — really nice touch.
What's on the self-serve bar instead of set side dishes
Next up, the self-serve bar corner! There's no set banchan (side dishes) laid out beforehand — you pick whatever you like from the self-serve bar.

The vegetables to go with the grilled meat were neatly arranged too — lettuce and perilla leaves for wraps, bean sprouts, scallion salad, onions, cheongyang chili peppers, garlic, and pink sausage. There were also shabu-shabu fixings like enoki mushrooms, oyster mushrooms, fish cake, glass noodles, rice cakes, and hand-torn dough soup pieces — nice that you can grab these even if you're not ordering shabu-shabu.

There was onion sauce and scallion sauce, and shabu-shabu broths in the back section.

The self-serve bar area also had baby utensils (spoons, forks), and there was a high chair set up in one corner of the restaurant too, so eating with a kid was comfortable. That said, since most of the restaurant is couch-style seating, it seems the high chair can probably only be used at the chair-based tables.

Tasting the 500g couple set: four cuts of pork
The couple set 500g comes with pork belly 200g, pork neck 100g, pork jowl 100g, and gabrisal 100g. These four cuts — pork belly, neck, jowl, and gabrisal — all arrive on one tray, along with a mixed mushroom plate of oyster mushrooms, king oyster mushrooms, and enoki. So, shall we go through each cut one by one?
Pork belly
It's the most familiar cut, but this flavor from 14 days of aging..❤️ I'm officially declaring this Namcheon-dong's go-to pork belly spot 🐷

Pork neck
The lean meat and fat were nicely balanced, so juicy!! Even though the cut was thick, it wasn't chewy or tough.

Gabrisal (pork blade end)
Gabrisal is a specialty cut known for its distinctly chewy texture, and my husband said it was the best cut of everything we had that day, haha.

Pork jowl
The marbling was densely woven throughout, so once grilled it was chewy yet tender — I kept reaching for more.
Pot rice, doenjang-jjigae and sungnyung (scorched rice tea)
The Namcheon branch doesn't offer plain steamed rice separately — it's served as stone pot rice instead. As a bonus, you also get to enjoy the nutty sungnyung (scorched rice tea) afterward.
Order 15 minutes in advance

The doenjang-jjigae also comes in different options — basic, meat-free, or not spicy — so you can choose according to your taste. We went with basic.
Simmer for 10 minutes for two, 12 minutes for three

My husband and I love doenjang-suljjigae (doenjang stew with rice mixed in), so we stirred the rice in and bubbled it up until we finished every last bit.

Finishing with ice cream
Lastly, next to the exit there's an ice cream machine with cone waffles set up, so you can grab a cone on your way out after paying — the perfect way to round off the meal.
If you're in Namcheon-dong, Busan, looking for a good spot to gather or eat out where you can enjoy aged meat and shabu-shabu all in one place, I recommend this one.
