A Korean BBQ restaurant for late arrivals in Gwangalli
I wanted delicious meat and drinks from Monday onward, so I went to Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui, a great spot in Gwangalli. The meat quality here is seriously good, and it tastes even better because the staff grill it themselves—so it is such an easy, comfortable meal. Even the owner and staff are all incredibly kind 🥹
There are lots of Korean BBQ places in Gwangalli, but not many grill everything for you from start to finish. More than anything, the meat is soooo good that this is the place I will think of whenever I think of Korean BBQ in Gwangalli.
It is open until 1 a.m., so if you are visiting Busan, arrive in Gwangalli late, and still want something delicious, run here!

It is close to Geumnyeonsan Station, so it is easy to find—just a heads-up!
The Jukrim Korean Pork Set and ordering conditions

This description really shows Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui's pride. But it was so delicious that I found myself reading even this closely without realizing it, haha.

There is a signature set menu, and I recommend it because it is a good value. The Jukrim Korean Pork Set is ₩49,000.

You need to order at least three servings. There is a great variety, from salt-grilled to marinated meat, plus lots of unusual cuts, so it is nice for trying different things.

Soju and beer are ₩5,000 each. If you make a Naver reservation, soju and beer are a whopping 50% off, so I recommend reserving if you like a drink!

You can also pick up a tasty stew or cheese through the review event.
A spacious, pleasant Korean BBQ atmosphere in Gwangalli
The restaurant is spacious and pleasant, without that typical meat-restaurant smell or any musty odor. There are quite a few group tables too, so it looks perfect for get-togethers or work dinners. There is sofa seating as well, making Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui a very comfortable Korean BBQ spot in Gwangalli.
Pork neck and pork belly grilled by the staff
First, let us cure the Monday blues with somaek, a soju-and-beer mix~

Even the water was tasty water, which I loved.

No, seriously, that sauce for dipping together is so delicious—please make sure you try it.

This seasoned bean sprout salad had seasoning like fresh kimchi, and it was so crisp and ridiculously good.

There were so many kinds of pickles too—goongchae, onion, and myeongi—and everything from the salted seafood to green onion kimchi was insanely savory, perfect with the meat.

The charcoal comes out first, and it is high quality too. The grill is a little different from other BBQ places: the sections beside the middle charcoal area stay warm, so you can keep the meat warm until the very end.
The meat quality is seriously great too 🥹 The fat on the side is for cleaning the grill! A staff member cleans the grill first, then puts the meat on. The cuts are so thick and look incredibly delicious 🥹 Thick meat is honestly not easy to grill, so I loved that the staff took care of it all.

The color is unreal... I totally recommend this place if you are visiting Gwangalli and looking for a good restaurant! It feels like international visitors would really love it too. They stay right there grilling so the meat does not burn, and it is browning beautifully. Meat really can taste completely different depending on who grills it, and meat grilled by a professional is definitely different.
Soybean paste stew rich with blue crab flavor
The soybean paste stew came out once the meat was partly cooked, and wow... please order it ㅠㅠ The broth is so deep and has such a rich blue crab flavor that the second I tasted it, I could not help saying how delicious it was.

It was packed with blue crab and tofu, making it even more refreshing and delicious ㅠ My older sister and I kept exclaiming over it. They also cut the meat into whatever size you want.

I took a bite of the pork neck first, and you know that feeling when the juices burst out and it is tender yet chewy? It was seriously delicious ㅠㅠ Wasabi with the meat is essential. But topping it with salted squid was an even better match than I expected.

This sauce is seriously soooo good. I was like, how did they even think of making this sauce? It is hard to describe, but the seasoning is just right and it somehow lifts the flavor of the meat another level.

All the banchan (Korean side dishes) here are delicious. The bean sprouts and green onion kimchi were seriously so good that I kept eating them with the meat.

I told you there was warmth along the side, right? So you can grill white kimchi there too, and even if you leave the meat for a while, it does not get cold. I really loved that.

The pork neck here was so, so good that my expectations for the pork belly were already at maximum.

The pork belly was insanely delicious too. It was chewy and tender, with a little more texture than the pork neck but not tough at all, and so nutty.

My mom, my older sister, and I kept repeating that it was delicious, haha. The side dishes were clean and fresh, the meat was tasty, and I recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a decent Korean BBQ place in Gwangalli!

Power

The mushrooms were super delicious too, and the staff handle absolutely everything from start to finish, so all you have to do is eat—it is so comfortable, you know? The meat was delicious and the staff were kind, so I had a truly wonderful meal at Jukrim Sutbul Dwaeji Gui, a great Gwangalli spot.
