In short
Seongsu Darak is a Western-style pasta restaurant in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong, Seoul, about a 500m walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3. The visit covered cream onion fries, Darak omelet rice with its dramatic tableside cut, and the eye-catching Darak rosé pasta mixed at the table, plus a look at the surprisingly roomy loft-style second floor reached by stairs. An honest review of Seongsu Darak, a pasta restaurant I'd recommend for a date or a first meeting in Seongsu.

Hello! Today I'm introducing Seongsu Darak, a Seongsu pasta spot that looks small and loft-like from the outside but feels surprisingly roomy inside! Both the space and the food satisfied me, so I'd recommend it for dates, get-togethers, or a first meeting.

Seongsu Darak is about a 500m walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3, and there's plenty of shopping and things to see nearby, like Musinsa — so eating at this Seongsu Western-food restaurant and then wandering around made for a perfect combo (instant date course!).

What's on the menu, and how much?

📋 Seongsu Darak's signature menu 📋
- Darak omelet rice
- Darak rosé pasta
- Spicy crab risotto
- Braised pork neck steak
- Beef brisket perilla pasta
- Carbonara
- Corn gnocchi
- Katsu sando
True to its status as one of Seongsu's go-to Western food restaurants, there's quite a variety on the menu. Beyond the marked signature dishes, there are also several different pastas, which I liked. There are side dishes too, so ordering two mains plus a side worked out perfectly! 🍝
What are the 1st and 2nd floors like inside?

Here are photos of the 1st and 2nd floor interiors. Climb the stairs like you're heading up to a loft and you'll find a spacious 2nd floor too! I'd strongly recommend it for dates, first meetings, or group gatherings, haha 👍
How was the food I ordered?
- Cream Onion Fries ₩10,000
- Darak Omelet Rice ₩17,000
- Darak Rosé Pasta ₩19,000

Starter: cream onion fries
First up, the cream onion fries that came out as an appetizer. They're topped with onion sauce and bacon chips over the fries. The sweet-and-tangy onion sauce with the salty bacon chips made a great palate cleanser to share!

The signature Darak omelet rice
And then Seongsu Darak's signature dish — the Darak omelet rice! Before cutting into the omelet, the staff even asked if I was filming, haha, so friendly~

You can tell just by looking that the egg omelet is soft and pillowy, wrapped around well-fried rice. I got why it's the signature dish~ 🍳 Sweet and fluffy, the kind of taste that keeps you coming back for more — you know that feeling when a familiar flavor gets you, haha.

The visually striking Darak rosé pasta
This oddly-visualed pasta... is one of Seongsu Darak's signature dishes, the Darak rosé pasta 🍅 I never imagined a pasta could look like this, so I was surprised.

Mix the cream on top with the ragu sauce underneath, and the rosé pasta we all know comes together~ The mild cream flavor blended with the ragu sauce underneath to give a rich, thick ragu-pasta feel. It had a spicy kick that made it taste fresh and new — I absolutely loved it!
