Seongsu burger restaurant date: two sets and craft beer, Bas Burger

When you're on a date near Seoul Forest, deciding where to eat can take forever haha. We were craving burgers that day, so we headed to Bas Burger Seongsu!

It's near Exit 7 of Ttukseom Station, so it's easy to find, and Seoul Forest is close by too — a great spot for a meal before or after a walk!

Hawaiian Burger: the pick for sweet-and-salty lovers

I love the combo of a meat patty with something sweet mixed in, so naturally I went with the Hawaiian Burger again haha.

The heavy, rich flavor typical of handmade burgers gets a sweet Hawaiian-style lift, so the taste never got one-note even by the time I finished the whole burger!

Eating it with craft beer especially felt like it reset the burger's rich flavor between bites — I really liked that combo 🤎 If you're looking for a Seoul Forest spot and enjoy a burger with a beer, this is basically the perfect match!

Signature Bas Burger: the classic needs no tuning

The other one ordered the Bas Burger, the menu item named after the restaurant itself haha. At a new burger place, I always make sure to try the signature or basic menu item, and this time was no different!

It doesn't have as bold a flavor point as the Hawaiian Burger, but basic is the best..🤟 The clean, plain taste really stood out!

We also ordered fries, and popping one in between burger bites just hit the spot as always — the familiar combo wins every time hahaha.

Chili mozza cheese bar with craft beer

Of everything we ordered as sides, the chili mozza cheese bar caught my eye the most ❤️

Cheese sides are common at burger places, but this mozza cheese bar coated in chili sauce had a really distinct flavor!

This kind of side definitely pairs better with beer than eaten on its own^^

One bite of burger, one bite of chili mozza cheese bar, one sip of beer — that tipsy feeling is the best..😉
