Notldun as an after-dinner dessert stop in Seongsu
Notldun, a dessert café in Seongsu, sits on Seoul Forest 2-gil. I headed there right after finishing dinner nearby. The meal was delicious, but somehow I still felt a bit of room left for round two haha ㅠㅠ
Going straight home felt like a waste, so I looked for somewhere to grab a good dessert after eating, and found Notldun — famous as a total dessert hotspot — so I walked right over haha.

From the entrance alone, this Seongsu dessert spot had a clean, upscale interior that really stood out.

Notldun's open kitchen behind glass and the wall of autographs
Behind the café, you can see straight through the glass as the pastry chefs make the desserts and breads by hand. Watching the whole process happen right in front of me built up a huge amount of trust in the desserts, on top of feeling really clean haha.

Looking around the walls, I spotted a ton of signatures — actress Pyo Ye-jin among them, along with other celebrities, influencers, and YouTubers.

It confirmed I'd found a real Seongsu dessert hotspot, and my expectations shot up even before I'd taken a bite haha.

What we ordered at Notldun: Pistachio Festival, pistachio madeleine, iced Americano
At Notldun I ordered the signature Pistachio Festival, the pistachio madeleine, and a cold Americano. I'm genuinely obsessed with pistachio in general ㅠㅠ

They happened to have a signature dessert called Pistachio Festival along with a pistachio madeleine, so I ordered without hesitation!

A sweet dessert always calls for a clean drink to go with it, so I got a cold Americano to enjoy alongside it.

Table service at Notldun, down to the dessert knife
Notldun brings your order out to your table, and this is where the owner's thoughtfulness really got me ㅠㅠ

They set out a knife so you can neatly slice the dessert yourself — it made me feel completely looked after.

Honestly, this is a great Seongsu dessert spot to visit when you want to treat yourself or need a little pick-me-up haha.

Pistachio Festival: what the cross-section and the taste are like
Notldun's Pistachio Festival is covered entirely in a gorgeous pistachio hue — this signature dessert. As soon as it arrived, I couldn't stop staring at how it looked.

The whole thing was coated in that luminous pistachio color, so pretty and appetizing that it made my mouth water just looking at it haha.
The design itself was so upscale and refined that I couldn't help but take photos.
I was most curious about the Pistachio Festival, so I cut into it with the knife to check the cross-section — it was so clean and neat, packed generously inside.

I took a big bite, and the deepest, most luxurious pistachio flavor I've ever had in my life filled my mouth ㅠㅠ

Inside there's a sweet jam-like layer, and the combination of that jam with the pistachio cream was so perfect it honestly surprised me haha.

With every bite, it felt almost a shame to watch the dessert disappear — it was seriously, insanely good!

Pistachio madeleine with an iced Americano
Notldun's pistachio madeleine has a generous coating of crushed pistachio bits on the outside. I tried it next — the crushed pistachio on the surface gave it a really fun, nutty crunch.

The soft, moist texture typical of a madeleine paired really well with the nutty, sweet pistachio flavor haha.

And right as the sweetness started to build up, a sip of the bitter, cold Americano cleared my palate completely — it was a combination I could keep eating endlessly!

Two desserts plus an Americano, and only then did I finally feel properly full haha.
Gift boxes and the atmosphere inside Notldun
Looking around the store, Notldun also has really nice gift wrapping available, with pretty boxes for takeaway.

The desserts look pretty and taste luxurious, so they'd make perfect gifts for someone special.

With such a nice atmosphere and great desserts, I saw a lot of couples there on dates too.

Why Notldun is worth it for pistachio lovers
If you love pistachio, this Seongsu dessert spot Notldun is a must-visit ㅠㅠ

You'll get to taste a level of pistachio dessert you truly haven't experienced before.
If you want to treat yourself with something upscale and sweet, pistachio fans should definitely try the desserts I had :-)
