Seongsu dessert café takeout with no weekend wait: Notldun

In short

Notldun is a high-end pastry dessert café on Seoul Forest 2-gil in Seongsu, Seoul. On a weekend afternoon there was no wait, and the takeout order — Signature Blanc at 14,000 won, vanilla caramel mille-feuille at 13,000 won and pistachio madeleine at 4,500 won — made it home without collapsing. With gift sets on the shelf too, Notldun is worth a spot on any Seongsu sugar-fix route.

I want to introduce Notldun (노틀던), a place I'd highly recommend as a Seongsu café, a Seoul Forest dessert café, and honestly one of the best dessert spots in Seongsu.

Notldun is a dessert café near Seongsu and Seoul Forest Station, and it's apparently the first pastry boutique from chefs Kim Myeong-jun and Ha Min-jae 😊

Is there a wait at Notldun on a weekend afternoon?

There seemed to be about 6–7 tables inside Notldun. I visited on a weekend afternoon, and since so many customers were there for takeout, I got in with no wait at all.

Through the glass you could see the chefs hard at work making the desserts, which honestly makes you trust the place even more ❤️ I was surprised how many staff members there were.

The store had a bright white-and-wood interior.

✔️ If you write a review, they apparently give you a Valrhona Guanaja dark chocolate latte, so it's worth doing. The basic insulated packaging already looks lovely, but if it's for a gift, buying a separate box will make it look even more premium.

Notldun's madeleine and financier selection and gift sets

Notldun's madeleines came in lime, pistachio, Earl Grey, vanilla, and raspberry.

They also had a financier selection and a Valrhona madeleine selection for sale, both great as gift sets.

Even though I visited during the day, a lot of the popular items were already sold out. Looks like they keep restocking, though 😊

There were so many gorgeous-looking desserts that I spent a long time trying to decide what to get 🥹

The three Notldun desserts I took home and what they cost

I got the Signature Blanc (₩14,000), vanilla caramel mille-feuille (₩13,000), and pistachio madeleine (₩4,500) to go 💛

They packed everything so carefully that nothing was crushed even after I got home from my Seongsu outing.

Signature Blanc, 14,000 won

The Signature Blanc is white chocolate mousse layered with tart-sweet cassis (blackcurrant), nutty pistachio, and a crisp final layer — so many flavors in one bite! If you love pistachio, this rich, nutty taste is a guaranteed hit ❤️

Vanilla caramel mille-feuille, 13,000 won

Layers of vanilla cream stacked in the mille-feuille, plus sweet-salty salted caramel, made for a dessert that nails both texture and flavor. You could really feel the layers of pastry, and the chocolate on top tied it all together nicely 🩷

Pistachio madeleine, 4,500 won

With no jam or cream inside, this madeleine let the nutty pistachio flavor shine through cleanly. A generous amount of pistachio made this a real winner 🩷

Who is Notldun best for?

Notldun, where I got to try premium desserts, is a solid recommendation as a top Seongsu dessert spot and Seongsu café. They also sell very upscale gift sets, great for gifting or for sharing together. Located near Seoul Forest, it's a highly recommended sugar-fix stop for anyone looking for a sweet Seoul Forest / Ttukseom dessert café ✨
