Recently, my mom said her scalp felt dry and itchy, and that she was losing a lot of hair. While looking for a scalp-care clinic for her, I heard about a place in Hanam Misa that has long been well known for hair-loss and scalp care, so we went.

Top Scalp Hanam Misa Branch (탑스칼프 하남미사점) is a hair-loss and scalp-care clinic on the fourth floor of SB Biz Tower, right in front of Exit 8 of Misa Station.

Because it is right by Misa Station, it was convenient to visit by public transportation. Parking-fee support is also available for those driving, so it is easy to visit without much burden. However, the parking entrance is rather narrow, so I recommend public transportation for beginner drivers with SUVs.

A clean, well-equipped treatment space

The interior was fairly spacious and, as you would expect from a care clinic, everything was kept very clean, making it feel comfortable.

The separate changing rooms for men and women were especially convenient. The women’s changing room even had a Dyson device for tidying your hair, which felt very thoughtful.

Not only the changing rooms, but also the actual treatment rooms were neatly prepared. Each room showed care in its interior and facilities, so the overall atmosphere was relaxing for treatment.

A tailored consultation after a scalp examination

Someone was being treated ahead of us, so we waited briefly and filled out a checklist. They also prepared tea and snacks for us to enjoy while we filled it in.

A one-on-one tailored consultation was conducted based on the checklist and scalp examination. I also appreciated that they explained the regular prices before treatment during the consultation—it inspired trust. Afterward, my mom received a combined treatment including detox, combination-scalp care, hair-loss prevention, and hair-root strengthening.

From detox to an ampoule finish

Before the treatment properly began, they used a leg-massage device, then used a device on her scalp to dissolve dead skin cells and buildup.

Next came the detox step, which used a large cotton swab to remove remaining buildup from the scalp. Her scalp was dry and a little itchy, but even at only the second step, she said it already felt refreshed.

They applied aloe gel to her scalp for its soothing effect and to ease scalp inflammation and heat.

After about 10 minutes of mist treatment, she said her scalp felt even cooler.
