Here's my review of Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch, a great pork galbi spot near Bakdal Market in Bakdal-dong, Anyang~

Where to park at Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch

Arrived at Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch, a great grill house in Bakdal-dong, Anyang! You can park in front of the store, but since Bakdal Market is nearby I parked at the market's paid parking lot instead~

Inside Sannae Sutbul Galbi: seating and the group dinner room

Here's the interior of Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch~ It was an early weekday evening but the window-side seats were packed, so I took this photo from the other side~ Overall, a clean and tidy interior!

There's also a room-style space on one side, which looks perfect for group dinners!

The menu: seasoned Korean pork galbi only, 15,000 won per 250g

Here's the menu at Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch~ There's only one signature dish — seasoned Korean pork galbi 👍🏻 A single-item menu, imagine that 😲

Side dishes include naengmyeon (cold noodles), steamed egg, doenjang stew, rice, extra mushrooms, and pork skin.

Seasoned Korean pork galbi (250g) ₩15,000 / Steamed egg ₩5,000 / Doenjang stew ₩3,000

There were only two of us but we ordered 3 servings of the seasoned pork galbi anyway 🤣

Banchan and the self-serve corner

After ordering, they brought out the basic side dishes — onion, cabbage salad, white kimchi, kimchi, garlic, ssamjang, wasabi, lettuce and perilla leaves, pickled gungchae, and green onion salad — all pairing well with the meat!

The cabbage salad had really tasty dressing so I enjoyed that one especially! Everything else was great too~

There's a self-serve corner on one side of the restaurant where you can freely grab whatever banchan you need! They even had baby spoons and forks ready~

Three servings of seasoned pork galbi: plenty of meat on the bone

The 3 servings of seasoned pork galbi came out along with king oyster mushrooms! There was a lot of meat still on the bone~

Tips for grilling the meat perfectly were posted around the restaurant, so I read them before grilling~ There's also a receipt review event where you can get steamed egg or pork skin as a free side 👍🏻

They grilled the pork galbi for us~ Flipping it often to keep it from burning made it look so delicious 😍

They cut it into easy-to-eat pieces and grilled it a bit more~ You know the meat on the bone is the best part, right? We picked it off the bones pretty thoroughly 🤣

Pork galbi tastes best wrapped in a lettuce wrap! We wrapped it in lettuce and perilla leaves with onion and green onion shreds, and it was delicious 👍🏻

It's also great just eaten plain with onion~

Steamed egg or doenjang stew: which side to order

Doenjang stew While we were eating, the doenjang stew arrived! Perfect timing for when you want some broth!

Steamed egg The steamed egg's look alone surprised me 😲 Not burnt at all, and so fluffy! I ate it very happily~~ Steamed egg is a must-order ⭐️ And you can apparently get it free through the Naver review event too, so make sure to claim it~

Finished off with nurungji (scorched rice) candy! Since it's a grill house, they even had fabric deodorizer ready to use 👍🏻

Is Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch worth a visit?

That's my review of Sannae Sutbul Galbi Bakdal Branch, a great grill house in Bakdal-dong, Anyang~ It's a single-menu spot with just seasoned Korean pork galbi, but the ribs were tender and tasty and the side dishes paired well with the meat.
