Pet-friendly Anyang café with scallop oil pasta brunch: Eggroom

Today I want to write about a Dongpyeon-maeul favorite, "Eggroom"~ It's a café I visit often, so I really wanted to write this post haha. Let's get into the review!!

Eggroom hours and what's allowed inside

Eggroom is a brunch café located on Dongpyeon-ro 49beon-gil in Dongan-gu, Anyang, Gyeonggi. Hours are Wednesday-Sunday 10:00-19:00, Monday 10:00-18:00, and it's closed every Tuesday.

With the cooler autumn breeze setting in, the terrace feels perfect for enjoying brunch~ You can soak in a relaxed afternoon under gentle sunlight, with a spoonful of romance (isn't that just the best~~)

Inside Eggroom: can you bring your dog?

The inside of Eggroom felt warm and cozy, and pets were welcome. It's a clean interior with a yellow accent symbolizing eggs.

The café atmosphere was warm and cozy, and since pets are allowed, I might bring mine next time ✨ + it's not too loud, so it's a healing kind of space~ The interior is clean with a subtle yellow color symbolizing eggs, and it caught my eye — so pretty. The chairs are unique too, super cute haha.

In the middle of the store, they've set out water, pickles, jalapeños, and tissues for self-service~~

How Eggroom's private room works

Fruitycal ade and coffee at Eggroom: today's pick

The drinks I had at Eggroom were the fruitycal ade and coffee. The fruitycal ade is a strawberry + pineapple + passionfruit combo, and the coffee had little to no acidity.

Eggroom French toast, 14,000 won and a 20-minute wait

Eggroom's French toast is ₩14,000 and takes 20 minutes to cook. The toast is filled with egg custard and comes with banana brûlée and ice cream.

Note that the toast takes 20 minutes to cook! (There's also an option to pre-order before you arrive)

The toast is fluffy and soft, and paired with the ice cream, it's the best combo!! The outside has a slight crisp texture while the inside is the ultimate in softness!! Moist through and through + plus the banana brûlée on top~ Not too sweet, so it never felt like too much

How is the 19,000 won scallop oil pasta at Eggroom?

Eggroom's scallop oil pasta is ₩19,000. It's made with scallops, linguine, whole garlic cloves, and onion flakes.

There's a gentle, savory kick from the whole garlic, mixed with the deep umami of seafood — light yet packed with flavor!! The onion flakes give a crunchy texture here and there, making it a fun brunch texture-wise haha.

Plump and juicy scallops!! There were more of them tucked between the pasta than I expected, and their subtle saltiness brings out the umami 💛 + the noodles were chewy yet soft, soaking up the sauce beautifully — pure deliciousness! (I finished it so fast without realizing)

Is Eggroom worth a visit? Final verdict

• ✅ The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, which is great
• ✅ Sweetness of the toast + saltiness of the pasta (the ultimate sweet-and-salty combo!!)
• ✅ Planning to try the desserts next time~
