Anseong Gongdo bakery café at 8pm: what bread is left at Chat Baker
In short
Chat Baker is a 500-pyeong bakery café in Gongdo, Anseong, near Lotte Mart and Anseong Farmland. At 8pm only about one and a half of the five main showcases still held bread, though loaves, baked sweets, cakes, butter rice cakes and Dubai chocolate salt bread were all still available. To taste every Chat Baker signature, come earlier in the day; late at night, head for the self-service oven zone on the second floor.

Today I'm sharing my review of Chat Baker, a 500-pyeong large-scale, aesthetic bakery café near Lotte Mart and Farm Land in Gongdo, Anseong — I visited around 8pm in the evening.
This is a place that makes around 80 kinds of handmade bread fresh every morning, along with house-made cream, raw chocolate, and even the drink bases all made in-house without compromise, so I went in with high expectations. Let me share in detail exactly how much bread was left when I visited late at 8pm!
Where is Chat Baker, and where do you park?
Chat Baker is located at 1F, Building 3, 4391 Seodong-daero, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, and it's open daily from 09:00 to 23:00. Free parking is available inside 512 Square.
- 📍 Location: 1F, Building 3, 4391 Seodong-daero, Gongdo-eup, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
- ⏰ Hours: (Daily) 09:00–23:00, (Brunch) 11:00–20:00
- 🚘 Parking: Free parking available inside 512 Square
✔️ Parking location: right behind the café (the red triangle zone) there's a spacious dedicated parking area.
✔️ Parking convenience: the lot itself is quite large, so the parking spaces are generous too — even beginner drivers or those visiting late in the evening can park comfortably without any stress.

How much bread was actually left at Chat Baker at 8pm?
Arriving at Chat Baker at 8pm, there were still quite a few customers despite the late hour, and — true to its reputation as a famous large bakery — a lot of the bread had already sold out.
✔️ Main showcase status: out of the five main showcases displaying bread, only about one and a half of them still had bread left. The popular items seemed to have sold out early.

✔️ What was still available: thankfully it wasn't completely empty — basic loaf breads, baked snacks, cakes, and trendy items like butter rice cake and Dubai chocolate salt bread were all still in stock, more than enough to enjoy alongside a drink!
Were Chat Baker's five signature breads still on the shelf at 8pm?
✔️ Signature top 5 check: of the shop's five signature menu items, the salt bread, red bean butter salt bread, and ciabatta sandwich were available, but the white cream roll and Gongju chestnut loaf were gone.
If you really want to try them, I'd recommend visiting a bit earlier rather than in the evening.
House-made base drinks and the Chat Baker brunch menu
Chat Baker takes its drinks just as seriously as its bread — the vanilla syrup, lemon preserve, ginger preserve, and raw chocolate sauce that go into the drinks are all reportedly made in-house.
The drip coffee was nice too, letting you choose your bean preference from acidity, balance, or nuttiness. There's also a range of signature drinks like brown sugar latte, house-made vanilla bean latte, and raw chocolate latte!

🍝 Brunch hours
- ✔️ Brunch hours: weekdays, 11:00 to 20:00
- ✔️ Main meal items: woo-samgyeop cream pasta (thinly sliced beef brisket cream pasta, ₩19,800), pollack roe shrimp oil pasta, truffle mushroom cream risotto, matcha snow-flake red bean bingsu (₩21,000), and more — the menu really ranges from meals to desserts.

Visit tip: take a seat on the second floor
If you're finishing up your order and wondering where to sit, I strongly recommend heading straight up the stairs to the second floor without hesitation!
✔️ Overwhelming sense of space: much wider and more open than the first floor, with a modern courtyard-style planted interior and a variety of table types.

✔️ Thoughtful self-service oven zone: upstairs there's an oven for warming up your bread, plus a neatly arranged self-service bar with straws, tissues, and water. Warming the bread I'd bought in the oven made it taste so much better, almost like it was fresh out of the oven!
Is a late visit to Chat Baker worth it?
With 500 pyeong of spacious floor area, a stylish second-floor interior, soft LP music, and convenient parking, this place was pure healing even for a late-night visit.
After 8pm the popular items do run out somewhat, but there's still a good variety of desserts left — baked snacks, cakes, Dubai salt bread — and you can enjoy them warm thanks to the self-service oven, so be sure to stop by on a late-evening Anseong/Pyeongtaek drive!🙂💕
