Gyeongju mochi shop with low-sugar gold kiwi and peach: Tareudang
In short
Tareudang is a takeout-only fruit mochi and tart shop on Sajeong-ro in Gyeongju's Hwangnidang-gil, open 11:30 to 17:00. On a day trip with her child, the blogger ordered three flavors — mango yogurt, gold kiwi and peach yogurt mochi — each made and packed on the spot, with 500 won off per piece when you buy four or more. The peach mochi with low-sugar yogurt and the well-ripened gold kiwi mochi were the two standouts at Tareudang.

Hi, I'm Reumi's mom! Today my kid and I went on a day trip to Gyeongju haha!! Since we came all the way to Gyeongju, I wanted to eat every dessert and dish I'd been craving, so I made sure to arrive starving lol.
One of the desserts I wanted most was Gyeongju's fruit mochi!!! Hanjeongseon's fruit mochi is super trendy right now and I really wanted to try it, but as a mom raising a kid I don't have the energy to hunt down a dessert shop with a brutal wait...!!! haha ㅠ
But wait, on this Gyeongju trip — huh? There's a place called Tareudang that sells fruit mochi rivaling Hanjeongseon?!!!!! I'm losing it 0.0 already so happy~

Where is Tareudang and what are its hours?
Tareudang is a fruit mochi shop at 49 Sajeong-ro, Gyeongju, in Hwangnidang-gil. Hours are 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Gyeongju Tareudang / Gyeongju fruit mochi = Tareudang
- Address: 49 Sajeong-ro, Gyeongju
- Hours: 11:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Feature: A takeout-only shop with fast turnover, so you can save precious travel time!
What fruit mochi flavors does Tareudang sell?
Whole mango mochi / melon mochi / shine muscat mochi / pineapple mochi / fig / dried persimmon / peach / gold kiwi and more — the lineup changes, but you can always get delicious mochi made with seasonal fruit.
* Some menu items may sell out after 3 PM, so I'd recommend visiting early :)
✔️ They also sell tarts baked fresh every morning. Made and sold the same day, so you get only the crispiest, freshest tarts — tart lovers, check out the menu photo.

Fruit mochi made to order in front of you
There wasn't much displayed at Tareudang, so I wondered what to do, but watching the people ahead of me packing up loads of stuff, I realized they make the fruit mochi fresh and pack it right there on the spot! Yesss~
So I ordered mango yogurt, gold kiwi, and peach yogurt flavors. I wanted to try the Dubai menu item too, but the day I visited they only had raw chocolate mochi, so I passed ㅠ
- ₩500 off each Gyeongju fruit mochi when you buy 4 or more.
- There are also low-sugar mochi options, FYI.

Peach yogurt mochi eaten on a Hwangnidang-gil bench
I quickly sat down on a bench in Hwangnidang-gil with my Tareudang haul and opened one my kid picked haha. Mom was so scattered I had no idea which wrapper held which flavor.
!! It was too big to bite into as-is, so I remembered I'd brought my kid's spoon and barely managed to cut the chewy mochi — please excuse the odd-looking mochi shots coming up :)
The one in red wrapping was peach mochi. A big chunk of fresh peach with low-sugar yogurt — insane combo. Sweet, chewy, absolutely delicious!! Ah, I said I'd only have one, but there I go unwrapping the second Gyeongju fruit mochi...!

Gold kiwi mochi now, mango yogurt mochi at home
Next up was the gold kiwi mochi in the yellow wrapper!! The gold kiwi was so well-ripened it tasted even sweeter!!! Maybe because it's not the low-sugar version? I pick you as my favorite mochi!!
Third, I held off and ate the mango mochi in the orange wrapper after getting home!! Poor thing suffered in the heat ㅠ its shape got pretty messed up, but the thick mango was so delicious.
If you're looking for Gyeongju desserts, Tareudang is seriously amazing...! I heard the dried persimmon sando and dried persimmon mochi are famous too ㅠ and now that I'm home, why does it keep showing up on my reels....0.0

Is Tareudang worth a stop on a Hwangnidang-gil walk?
Wandering around Hwangnidang-gil, which is packed with the best Gyeongju snacks you keep thinking about as you walk, your energy is bound to dip at some point — and that's when Gyeongju fruit mochi from Tareudang is the perfect fix..!
With clean double-wrapped packaging that's easy to enjoy on the go, it's an even better Gyeongju Hwangnidang-gil dessert pick for anyone heading to Cheomseongdae nearby or planning to eat it back at their accommodation!! If you're after Gyeongju fruit mochi, don't even think twice — go to Tareudang.
