Yangsan café open at 8am: avocado toast and long black, Famous Venny
In short
Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is an Australian-style brunch café inside Oslo Park in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan. On this second visit the order was mushroom soup (9,000 won), smoked salmon toast (17,000 won), avocado toast (16,000 won), a long black and an americano (5,500 won each), and the long black with its crema intact and the thick slices of avocado on the toast were the standouts. Because Famous Venny opens at 8am daily, it also works for early morning meetups.

What kind of café is Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch?
Famous Venny Yangsan Oslo Park Branch is an Australian-style brunch café located inside Oslo Park in Mulgeum-eup, Yangsan. It hasn't been open long, but word has already spread and it was packed with customers of all ages. I enjoyed it so much on my first visit that I kept thinking about it — this was my second time here.

These days brunch isn't just about eating — it's become a lifestyle of enjoying leisurely time and space together. Famous Yangsan Oslo Park Branch fits right into that brunch culture, a spot appealing enough to enjoy a meal, rest, and coffee all in one.

Is Famous Venny comfortable for a solo visit? Seating and atmosphere
Along with brunch plates made with fresh vegetables and ingredients, the menu covers sandwiches, salads, pasta, and specialty coffee — most tables were groups of 2 to 4, but there's also comfortable seating set aside for solo diners.

What we ordered at Famous Venny and what it cost
- Mushroom soup 9.0
- Smoked salmon toast 17.0
- Avocado toast 16.0
- Long black 5.5
- Americano 5.5

Long black vs americano: what's the difference?
A long black and an americano both use espresso and water, but the order of preparation and the amount of water differ. A long black pours espresso over water, keeping the crema intact with less water, making it stronger; an americano pours water over espresso, which breaks the crema and uses more water, making it lighter. The visual difference is obvious too. The iced long black had crema that was still wonderfully intact compared to the warm americano, with a deep aroma and a heavier, richer flavor.

Mushroom soup, 9,000 won
Served with bread toasted golden and crisp, the mushroom soup was packed with mushrooms — rich, smooth, and an unmissable order. I'm someone who's so particular about soup that I make it myself at home rather than settle for store-bought, and this one hit the spot exactly.

Smoked salmon toast, 17,000 won
The smoked salmon toast, piled high on sourdough, looks gorgeous and tastes absolutely amazing. I fell for this one last time and ordered it again — well-toasted sourdough loaded with house-made aioli, a poached egg, smoked salmon, and arugula, more than enough for a hearty meal.

A squeeze of lemon hit my mouth with brightness first, then the smooth, savory richness of the smoked salmon rushed right in after.

The salty, savory character unique to smoked salmon paired beautifully with the sourdough, and the sauce added even more depth of flavor.

Avocado toast, 16,000 won
Avocado, tomato, salad, and sourdough — the classic, simple, healthy brunch. Avocado toast isn't heavy or over-flavored, just clean and healthy. Avocado, nicknamed 'butter of the forest,' has a soft texture and nutty richness, and it originates from Mexico and Central America.

I already love avocado, and with fresh salad and nuts added on top, it left me completely full and satisfied.

The avocado toast seemed to have more than one whole large avocado piled on. Loading my favorite fruit generously onto the bread made me happy beyond words.

Second visit: why Famous Venny was worth going back to
Yangsan's must-visit brunch café, Famous Venny Oslo Park Branch, delivered again on this second visit. Some places you remember fondly turn out disappointing when you return, but that doesn't seem to be the case here. I also occasionally need a place for early brunch, and it's not easy to find a brunch café that opens at 8am. The taste, the atmosphere, the early opening hours — everything was perfect.
