Munjeong Station lash salon: straight-lash 9mm LED set, Lash Doll

In short

Lash Doll Munjeong Station is a lash extension salon specialising in LED extensions in Songpa, Seoul, on basement level 1 of the SK V1 building, connected directly to Munjeong Station underground. The writer, whose natural lashes are very straight, came back for a set with the front lashes at 9mm and the rest at 10mm in a JC curl, and while extensions elsewhere thinned out after a month and a half, the Lash Doll LED set stayed full for two months. Best of all, there was no stinging in the eyes right after the appointment.

Why straight natural lashes pushed me toward extensions

My lashes are seriously, super super straight — they just point straight down, you know? So even if I curl them, they droop right back within 5 minutes. Because they always pointed down, my eyes looked kind of tired too, so I kept doing lash lifts for a while, but recently I finally got into lash extensions instead~~ Since I barely wear makeup, a lash lift alone always felt like something was missing... hahaha. So I've been getting extensions regularly, and I went back to Lash Doll's Munjeong Station branch, famous for lash LED extensions in Munjeong-dong >_<

Basement passage of the SK V1 building connected to Munjeong Station

Lash Doll's Munjeong Station branch is on the basement floor of the SK V1 building connected to Munjeong Station~! It's linked to the subway passage, so it's super convenient to get to by public transit. On my first visit I took the subway, and I remember being pleasantly surprised that the connection was right there the moment I got off the train.

Entrance to the underground parking lot of the building where Lash Doll's Munjeong Station branch is located

This time, since I now drive, I came by car! Hehe~~ The building's underground parking lot was spacious and easy to park in, and since they give 2.5 hours of free parking, it was perfect for running other errands too 👍

Booking Lash Doll on Naver, and why I went back

I booked through Naver Reservation, and I definitely recommend doing that when you go. You can download an unlimited-use review discount coupon right away, so I got a nice discount too, hehe. There's a reason I came back to Lash Doll in Munjeong-dong — this was where I first got LED lash extensions, and after that I tried out other LED extension shops, but the director's hand skills here are seriously on another level haha. Since it was my first time, I couldn't compare back then, but after trying other places, the difference really hits you~~

Preparing for a lash extension treatment at Lash Doll's Munjeong Station branch

Lash length and curl chosen for my eye shape

It's not just generic extensions or a generic lash lift — they really tailor the style to each person's eye shape!! I naturally have a good amount of lashes and some length already, so if they go too long it feels way too heavy. That's why I always got 10mm extensions. While other shops just ask 'what curl?' 'what length?', the director at Lash Doll Munjeong-dong grasps your desired length and lash style and everything else, then considers your eye shape on top of that when doing the treatment — I really felt the difference from other places!

KC-certified glue and blackout patches made for LED

They use KC-certified glue and LED-specific blackout patches!! A lot of shops do LED lash extensions, but apparently the blackout patch is a must-check item~! Make sure to check for this wherever else you go too~! They also offer human-hair-thickness extensions, double volume extensions, and various other styles, so it's a Munjeong-dong lash shop where you can really find the exact style you want :)

Before and after: my Munjeong Station lash extensions

Eyes before the Munjeong Station LED lash extension treatment
Eyes after the Munjeong Station LED lash extension treatment

Even with eyes closed you can see the difference... before and after hahaha. This is exactly why I can't quit extensions!!! The director really worked through each lash one by one, and the result is so wonderfully full, I love it!! And after checking my eye shape, she said doing the same 10mm on the inner corner lashes could make my eyes look sleepy, so she did 9mm at the front and 10mm for the rest, with a JC curl!

How long do LED lash extensions really last?

And here's why I'm so satisfied with LED lash extensions in Munjeong-dong — the hold is seriously insane~~!!! When I first came, I doubted there'd be any real difference with LED extensions, but while other shops usually last about a month and a half, these stayed full for a solid two months. Saying nothing falls out at all would be a lie, but staying full for a long stretch of time is absolutely true!!!

Results of the Munjeong-dong LED lash extensions still full after weeks

Even in selfies my eyes look more defined, and that droopy look is completely gone, replaced with a wide-open feel hahaha. And with the Munjeong-dong lash LED extensions, there's zero stinging right after the procedure — absolutely none!! With glue-based ones my eyes always used to sting when I opened them, but LED extensions are so good about this~ Plus with the crazy-good hold on top of it, super satisfied with these Munjeong-dong lashes!
