Seongsu Station favorite "Bas Burger Seongsu," a handmade burger spot with free-refill potato chips on the terrace!

First photo from the visit to Bas Burger Seongsu

After running errands in Yeongdeungpo, I was craving a burger, so my husband and I searched for Seongsu burger restaurants on the spot and decided on Bas Burger!

Where is Bas Burger Seongsu, and where do you park?

Bas Burger Seongsu sits right next to Seoul Forest Art Hall, so you can park and walk straight in. Seongsu can get pretty congested, so we were looking for somewhere easy to park — and since Bas Burger is right beside the Art Hall, we just parked there and walked right over!!

It's also close to Ttukseom Station Exit 7, an easy walk, and being right next to Seoul Forest Art Hall makes it super easy to find.

The outdoor terrace seats at Bas Burger Seongsu

The weather was perfect for sitting outside! If you're looking for a Seongsu terrace spot, Bas Burger's outdoor seats are great for people-watching while you eat!

The dining room itself is pretty spacious too, and with outdoor seats on top of that, there's plenty of room!

Unlimited potato chips and other free perks

And here's the thing that sets Bas Burger apart!

  • ✔️ Free-refill fried potato chips, fried fresh every morning
  • ✔️ Seven free sauces including house sauce
  • ✔️ Soda refill service
  • ✔️ Free craft beer tasting
  • Popular side dish given out for review event participation
  • Chili mozzarella cheese bar or one Bas Lager given for photo review participation

They run quite a few promotions!! Especially the free-refill chips fried fresh that day — that alone is enough to bring me back! haha

While waiting for the burgers and snacking on chips, I couldn't stop my hands haha, but I had to save room for the burger!

Delivery orders kept coming in and riders kept going in and out — looks like this place gets a lot of delivery and takeout orders through Baemin, Coupang Eats, Yogiyo, and Ddangyo!

Bas Chicken Burger set and Double Bacon Cheese Burger set served together

Bas Chicken Burger set, ₩12,600. A chicken patty with butterhead lettuce and your choice of house sauce, served as a set with fries and a drink. The Double Bacon Cheese Burger set, ₩15,800, comes with two beef patties, two slices of real cheddar, house sauce, low-sodium bacon, and ketchup — it looks hearty just from the visual!

Bas Burger's sauces are pretty cute too!? The ketchup especially, and each set comes with different sauce pairings, which makes eating here more fun!

How do the Double Bacon Cheese Burger and Bas Chicken Burger taste?

The Double Bacon Cheese Burger set has two beef patties, so just looking at it is filling — thick and rich, the kind of flavor that just clicks!

The chicken burger with butterhead lettuce had the lettuce sticking out like Donald Duck's mouth lol

Sides we added: chili mozza cheese bar, onion rings and Bas Lager

We also added the Chili Mozza Cheese Bar (1pc, ₩3,700) and Onion Rings (5pc, ₩3,500), which made a perfect amount to share — and of course beer had to make an appearance, so I had a Bas Lager to myself lol (my husband was driving!). The onion rings were super crunchy, totally my type!

The Chili Mozza Cheese Bar lives up to its name — a subtle chili kick hits you right away, like "oh, this is spicy!" so the cheese never gets greasy lol. You could probably eat two of these without feeling sick of it, but it is spicy! haha

The chili mozza cheese bar and Bas Lager are also given out for review event participation, which is a pretty generous deal!

Ate well and heading out! haha So full, so full!
