Hangover-day lunch at a Suwon Ingye-dong soup restaurant: Eolkeunhan
In short
Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a 24-hour pork bone soup restaurant near Na Hye-seok Street in Ingye-dong, Suwon. Driving over for lunch the day after drinking, the writer ordered ugeoji ppyeo haejangguk (pork bone soup with dried napa cabbage) for 11,000 won and seonji haejangguk in the spicy version (blood-curd soup) for 12,000 won, and the bones were simmered so long the meat slid off at the touch of a chopstick. With 2 hours of free underground parking and ice cream served for dessert, Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk is worth a return trip for a second round of hangover recovery.

Today I'm sharing a review of Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, a hangover-soup spot in Ingye-dong that's open 24 hours and packed with spicy, deep flavor and great service~!! I went to cure my own hangover the day after drinking, and thanks to the spicy, deep broth, I was cured on the spot. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a solo-dining Korean restaurant in Ingye-dong or a dinner haejangguk spot in Ingye-dong✨✨ Let's go with today's review -💨💨
Where is Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch, and where do you park?
Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is located an 8-minute walk from Suwon City Hall Station. Best of all, it's close to Naheseok Street, so it seems perfect as a second-round hangover-soup spot~
Restaurant details: hours, reservations, takeout
- 📍 Hours: Open 24 hours!!!!
- 📍 Parking: Free underground parking behind the building for 2 hours
- 📍 Reservations: Phone reservations available for groups

I drove there for lunch to cure my hangover and was looking for a restaurant with convenient parking, so I was glad this place had its own generous parking space. Of course, parking in front of the shop is also possible!
Inside Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk: atmosphere and seating
This is the outside of the shop~ The exterior was very neatly decorated.

I got curious about the broth that supposedly gets tastier the more you eat it haha

This is the inside of the shop~ Inside it was very spacious with lots of seats, and the interior was also very clean.
There was also a separate group room! If you're planning a group visit, the room seems like a good option too.
The pork bone soup is boiled fresh every day and run on a same-day-use principle, which made me trust the place even more.
Menu and prices at Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk

Here's a photo of the menu board~ The prices were very reasonable, which I liked.

And takeout was also available! It seemed like it'd be great to boil at home too.
Tablet ordering and the self-serve side dishes

Ordering was done via tablet at the table. I thought they'd only have pork bone soup, but the menu was actually really varied.

These are the basic side dishes they gave us as soon as we sat down. But... these were seriously delicious.....🤤 Just from these side dishes alone I could tell this was a good restaurant....🤤🤤🤤

You could get more side dishes from the self-serve corner!

We also ordered cola, and they even gave us a cup of ice like this — so touched 👍

Finally, the main dish arrived~ The visuals alone pass with flying colors, right...??? Watching it bubble bubble🫠🫠🫠 makes me feel like I'm already curing my hangover.
Ugeoji ppyeo haejangguk (pork bone soup with dried napa cabbage), 11,000 won

First up is my order, the 'ugeoji ppyeo haejangguk (₩11,000)'. I love ugeoji (dried napa cabbage leaves) so much that I ordered this menu~

Let's start with the broth...!!!! One spoonful and you can taste something clean yet deep and rich — this is truly the ultimate hangover cure.

Since I ordered it with ugeoji, the vegetables were seriously packed in..!!!! If you like the vegetables in gamjatang (spicy pork bone stew), order it with ugeoji like I did.

The rice that came with it was also fluffy and really delicious~

The best pairing with haejangguk has got to be kkakdugi (diced radish kimchi) -♥♥♥♥ It was so delicious I wanted to ask for the secret recipe.

And inside there were about 4 big bones! Isn't this really a great deal-❣️
The bones were really boiled to perfection. You can see the meat trembling in the video too — it was boiled so thoroughly that the meat came right off with just a touch of the chopsticks.

And I felt like the saying 'it gets tastier the more it boils' was exactly right, because the broth flavor got even richer as it cooled!!! Confirmed: a genuine haejangguk favorite in Ingye-dong.
Seonji haejangguk, spicy version (blood-curd soup), 12,000 won

This is what my boyfriend ordered, the 'seonji haejangguk (spicy flavor) (₩12,000)'. Can you tell it's spicy just from the red color of the broth?

Just as the menu board said, the spicy flavor was indeed spicy 🔥🔥🔥 But it was a delicious kind of spicy that made you feel completely cleared out

The seonji haejangguk was packed with really big pieces of seonji (blood sausage) and gopchang (beef intestines). The seonji was so fresh it was delicious! Highly recommend for anyone who loves seonji ✨

To finish, they even served ice cream for free~ How can you resist this hahaha It was the perfect way to cool your mouth after the spicy flavor.
Is Eolkeunhan Ppyeo Haejangguk worth it for a hangover lunch?
This is the kind of place that comes to mind as a second-round hangover-soup spot if you're drinking in Ingye-dong, so I'm definitely planning to come back!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a hangover-soup restaurant in Ingye-dong today. Spicy, smoky hangover soup is simply the best.
