Today I visited Orange Bagel, a Suwon brunch café that's great to bring kids to.

The Orange Bagel building catches your eye even from a distance! There's also a rooftop, making it an especially nice Suwon café to visit during the cool breezes of spring and fall.

Orange Bagel, a large Suwon café, has such a wide variety of bagels that I'd like to introduce it less as a simple café and more as a place worth visiting in Gyeonggi-do.

In particular, the bagels at Orange Bagel are made with high-protein, flavorful Canadian-milled French flour, kneaded in just the right ratio, giving them a chewier, more satisfying bite!

And when you buy 4 bagels, they pack them in such a pretty gift box — it makes for a great snack gift for people around you.

Another reason I'd call Orange Bagel a proper Suwon brunch café: they also sell a variety of soups, like mushroom and more.

Which bagel flavors does Orange Bagel bake?

Now let me introduce the various bagels sold at this Suwon café. They also sell filling meal-replacement bagels like salmon and jambon-beurre, and both the salmon and jambon-beurre are really fresh.

This is my husband's favorite bagel at Orange Bagel — it has double cream inside, so it's soft and light.

If you come in the morning, something like this bacon-egg-mayo bagel would be great too.

There are so many creative menu items you'd wonder how anyone thought to make them out of a bagel. Recommended if you love potatoes!

This is one of my favorite menu items, the olive tomato bagel — loaded generously with olives, giving it a light, clean flavor.

Why the Laugen butter bagel brings me back to Orange Bagel

The real reason I visited Orange Bagel today was to taste the Laugen butter bagel — sweet and salty, with an incredible buttery flavor.

You don't see many places selling Laugen butter bagels, right? I've been to a lot of cafés near Seoul, but they're rare, so I always seek one out whenever I come to Orange Bagel.

Orange Bagel opens early in the morning and stays open late into the night! So it's also a great spot to enjoy wine and bagels with friends.

They also have plain and rye bagels — try those with the various cream cheeses on offer.

Coffee at Orange Bagel: acidic beans and decaf for 500 won more

Orange Bagel is also a Suwon spot known for good coffee — the drink menu has a lot of options, which I love.

Their coffee beans come in acidic, nutty, and decaf options. Decaf costs just 500 won extra, which is very reasonable.

With Halloween coming up at the end of October, the interior is filled with pumpkins. It's a café where you can take lots of memorable photos with your kids.

How the three bagels and two Americanos tasted

Today we ordered three kinds total: rice crackseo, deep choco, and Laugen butter.

The rice crackseo was my first time trying it — a healthy bagel I'd recommend for anyone who likes a light, nutty flavor.

For coffee, my husband ordered an Americano with acidic beans, and I ordered a decaf Americano.

A cool Americano really is the best match for a sweet and salty bagel.

The outside is salty with that chewy, distinctive Laugen flavor, and the inside is moist with a deep, nutty butter taste. The more you chew, the more that light, subtle buttery aroma comes through — it's the kind of taste that keeps you reaching for more, so give it a try sometime!
