Guro, Seoul bar for pork jjaglagi stew and ₩5,500 soju: Eulji Pocha

After an intense workout nearby, we went looking for somewhere to refuel near Guro Digital Complex Station. A friend said there was a place close by with great events, so we all piled in.

That's how it felt, and we left satisfied! Would definitely go back.

Oh, one more thing — ⭐️it's open until 5am, so it works great whether you're stopping in for round one or round three, a real Guro late-night bar.

How to find Eulji Pocha near Guro Digital Complex Station

Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch is a 3-minute walk from Exit 2 of Guro Digital Complex Station. It's a 1-minute walk from the old Sajo Tuna (17481) bus stop and a 3-minute walk from E-Mart Guro.

It sits right on Kkalkkal-geori, so it's easy to get to and easy to find. The photo below was taken near where the street starts, between E-Mart Guro and the bus stop.

Keep walking straight and, like in the photo below, you'll see Eulji Pocha on your right.

First, check out the celebrity autographs up front — below is the dining room, with lots of different concepts and seating, a solid spot for a Guro group dinner.

The lighting was dim, but with just the right amount of neon signage that didn't strain the eyes, giving it a fun atmosphere — the interior was designed so well that every seat felt like the best seat in the house.

⭐️It's a massive space that could probably fit close to 40 people. With wide walkways and good spacing between tables, it seemed like a great fit for group dinners, friend hangouts, dates — pretty much anything.

Even around 10pm on a weekday there were tons of customers, which made me realize what a popular Guro bar this is.

At Eulji Pocha Guro Digital Complex Branch there's a unique event where you earn coins for buying food or drinks and can then use them. 🪙 Each coin is worth ₩500✨

We ended up buying four ice creams at the end — total win ☺️🩷

We even joined the roulette event where everyone wins. My friends were glued to the screen watching it.

Then out of nowhere came the table lucky-number event🫨‼️ Whoever's number lasted the longest got a free item from the bar! We really wanted it, but the table next to us won. So nerve-wracking 🥹

There's something called Jongno Records where you can write down a song request and hear it played — an actual staff member DJs, which felt like a fresh touch. Really felt like a bar that puts thought into things.

Honestly, this was a Guro bar that really put you in the mood to drink...

What's on the menu at Eulji Pocha

Even the prices are a great deal. This place is just so good.

Pork jjaglagi stew and fire jeyuk bokkeum for three

• Cheongju pork jjaglagi (stew) ₩24,000
• Fire jeyuk bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork) ₩19,000
• Rice ₩1,000
• Soju ₩5,500

Pork jjaglagi — sounds delicious just from the name, right? Loaded with meat and vegetables, it made me want rice immediately. Spicy and rich, so we ordered extra rice — our table was pretty dark, so my photos don't do it justice, my one regret.

Done.

Then the jeyuk arrived too, icing on the cake — literally flambéed, with a spicy kick that went down so easily.

You really can't go wrong with these dishes — order them, you won't be disappointed. We'd just worked out so everyone inhaled the meat.

I complained the photos weren't coming out well, so a friend turned on their phone flashlight for this shot of the full spread. Plenty of food — just the right amount even for three big eaters.

It was almost midnight, and with last trains looming and the pressure of everyone needing to be up by 7-8am the next morning, we couldn't order more before splitting up — but it was a fun, delicious, and affordable find near Guro Digital Complex Station!

It's loud, but not in a bad way, you know what I mean — the kind of loud where you can just have fun with whoever you're with. I'd go again. Works for group dinners, dates, and hangouts with friends alike.
