A nakgopsae spread I thought might be all sauce
Honestly, I thought all nakgopsae would taste pretty much the same because of the sauce, but I visited Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch and was surprised that each ingredient had its own presence.
You know those days when you crave a spicy meal? It had been a while since I last wanted nakgopsae, so I went to Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch, which I often passed by.
I do love nakgopsae, but I have been a little disappointed by places where the ingredients were skimpy or the sauce was the only strong flavor. This place, though, had a more generous mix of ingredients than I expected and a good range of protein, so I was very satisfied.

A restaurant that looked comfortable for gatherings too
The restaurant was neat, and the space between tables felt fairly comfortable, making it nice to visit with friends. It also looked like a good choice for a family meal or a gathering. With its huge screen, it is also a great restaurant for groups on sports-game days.

Apparently the members of Osaka Ojo Gang visited too, haha. A varied spread and basic sides
There was a varied menu too, haha.

When you are watching your diet and finding it difficult to choose something when dining out, I think it can be a good idea to enjoy food with a variety of proteins in moderation rather than always eating only salad. Of course, since it is seasoned food, it was perfect as a delicious choice for a date or meal out.

You can really see how fresh the ingredients are, right? I would recommend this Balsan Station restaurant not only to regular nakgopsae fans, but also to anyone who wants to enjoy octopus, beef tripe, and shrimp all at once!

Bubbling octopus, shrimp, and beef tripe
Once it starts bubbling, mix the octopus, shrimp, and beef tripe evenly and dig in. Food like this is just fun when you eat it straight from a pot at a boil. The plump ingredients came together with the spicy, savory sauce in a flavor that naturally made me want rice.
Personally, nakgopsae is great simply with rice, but I also recommend wrapping it with perilla leaves and the various sides. A big bite brings together spicy and nutty flavors, and I kept reaching for more.

Finish with fried rice in the leftover sauce

We even made sure to have fried rice, haha. The ending is another pleasure, after all. Once you have enjoyed the main dish to some extent, having a finishing dish that uses the leftover sauce makes the meal feel properly complete. It was filling from start to finish, so it would be great to visit on a hungry day.

I would recommend this Balsan Station restaurant not only to regular nakgopsae fans, but also to anyone who wants to enjoy octopus, beef tripe, and shrimp all at once! It was a place that made me want to try another menu combination next time. When you are craving something spicy and looking for a generous meal near Balsan Station, remember Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch :)
