Sunlight streamed in through the floor-to-ceiling windows, and the seats weren't cramped together, which I liked haha. You end up sitting for a long time at a salon, so the atmosphere matters to me, and this place felt bright and pleasant overall, so it was a comfortable place to bring my mom!

Drinks and snacks at ONLY FOR YOU: lids on, QR ordering

While we waited, they brought us drinks and light snacks, so I got to wait comfortably beside her 🎈 And honestly, every time I go to a salon, I always think, it would be so nice if they gave me a lid to put over my coffee so hair doesn't fall in. But almost no salon actually does that,,, ? Yet ONLY FOR YOU Hannam Main Branch served the coffee with a lid on ‼️‼️ Total bonus points ★★★★★ I thought that was such a thoughtful touch.

And here, like a café, you order drinks and snacks by scanning a QR code, and they bring them right over,,, A salon that keeps refilling snacks like that is the best, seriously,, 💗

Designer Daewoong's bob cut: no perm, cut only

The person in charge of my mom's hair this time was designer Daewoong!! My mom went with just a cut this time, no other service, and honestly for short hair, the overall silhouette seems to change dramatically depending on how the cut is done, more than the perm..!

Especially to maintain a bob style like my mom's, it's not just about cutting the length shorter—it's important that the volume at the back of the head, the side lines, and the neckline all connect naturally.

Designer Daewoong at ONLY FOR YOU Hannam Main Branch, a hair salon in Hannam-dong, kept checking the overall shape while cutting and carefully set the lines throughout. Honestly, at first, since it was a male designer rather than a woman, I had a bit of a worry, like, huh, is this going to work? But truly,,,,,, there was absolutely no need to worry ‼️‼️‼️‼️ He was genuinely excellent at bob cuts.

And here's the finished bob cut‼️ What was really surprising that day was that even without any perm at all, the shape came out looking so pretty!

Even in the photos you can see the back of the head isn't flat—it's rounded with volume alive, right? The top has natural volume while the line gets calmer and more settled toward the bottom, which made the whole head shape look much prettier 💗 In particular, the back of the neck wasn't left too heavy but trimmed to fall cleanly, and I really loved the silhouette from the side haha. Even the ends didn't feel like they were just cut straight across—they had a natural movement that looked much more polished.
