Nampo-dong sushi restaurant with a 16-piece dinner set: Moshi Moshi

I went to have dinner with my mom today at "Moshi Moshi" on the 10th floor dining floor of Lotte Department Store Gwangbok! It was my first time trying it and it was so good haha. My mom and I both totally love sushi 🤭 Here's an honest post covering everything from the set menu to the taste~!

Where is Moshi Moshi Sushi Lotte Gwangbok, and what are its hours?

Moshi Moshi Sushi is on the 10th floor of the main building at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok, 2 Jungang-daero, Jung-gu, Busan, South Korea. It's also about a 1-minute walk from Exit 10 of Nampo Station, so it's easy to get to!

I made a reservation for Sunday evening at 5:30 haha. There are a lot of people at weekend lunches, so make sure to check the wait time before you go~

The country of origin was all labeled haha. The basic table setting was already done for us.

The menu and why we chose set no. 2

My mom and I went with set no. 2! 16 pieces of sushi + char siu + yaki udon = ₩58,900. There's an extra charge depending on the noodle type~

The starter: chilled soft tofu

The basic banchan (side dishes) that came out right after ordering! The soft tofu on the right was really tasty haha.

What the 16 pieces of sushi tasted like

While we were eating the soft tofu, out came all 16 pieces of sushi, one of each kind — the quality, honestly...?

Every single piece had no fishy smell at all and was fresh!! They came out in neat, bite-sized pieces, so it was easy to eat without feeling weighed down 💛

Was the yaki udon worth it?

Here comes the yaki udon~ I'm obsessed with yaki udon lol. Inside there was squid, scallop, shrimp, meat, and more — the ingredients were super generous.

The yaki udon wasn't overly seasoned and had a good texture from being stir-fried with vegetables haha. It's perfect to pair with your sushi when eating sushi alone feels like it's not quite enough!!

The char siu was so tender. It'd probably taste even better eaten with the bean sprouts and vegetables, right~?

So that's all three parts of the two-person set menu that we tried!

Final verdict on dinner at Moshi Moshi Sushi in Nampo-dong

Being located in the department store's dining floor made it easy to drop in while shopping, and being close to Nampo Station made it convenient too haha. The interior was clean and comfortable, so it'd be great for a family meal, a date, or a meal with friends!

It was great being able to enjoy so many different kinds of sushi at once! It was nice to eat something clean made with fresh ingredients 🤭 If you're looking for a good sushi restaurant in Nampo-dong or a place to eat after shopping at Lotte Department Store Gwangbok, I recommend Moshi Moshi for a clean Japanese meal 💕
