Pino Cafe, a Cheonan brunch café with good pasta

If you're looking for a Cheonan brunch café with good pasta, there's a spot where you can enjoy autumn atmosphere at the same time 💛 Pino Cafe Cheonan sits inside Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest, with a roughly 3,000-pyeong garden where you can have brunch and coffee together 🥰 In autumn, yellow cosmos bloom beautifully too, so it's great for both eating and walking 🌼 Here's my story of Cheonan brunch café pasta plus an autumn outing ☺️

Where is Pino Cafe Cheonan, and what are the hours and parking?

Pino Cafe Cheonan is at 99-23 Hyuyangnim-gil, Pungse-myeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan-si, Chungcheongnam-do, inside Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest. It's open daily from 10:00 to 20:30, year-round. Reservations, takeout, delivery, parking, and dogs are all available.

There are two parking lots, Lot 1 and Lot 2. The parking area around the café is fairly spacious, so parking was easy. If it's full, you can use the public lot in front of the Taehaksan management office, about a 1-minute walk away.

A large brunch café inside Taehaksan Natural Recreation Forest: indoor seats and outdoor terrace

Pino Cafe was much bigger than I expected. If you go thinking it's just a regular café, you might be a little surprised.

The indoor space is all on one floor, with wide gaps between seats, so it was comfortable to sit. The chairs were comfortable too, so it seemed fine to stay a while.

And the spot I unexpectedly liked was the outdoor terrace.

On a cool day, having a coffee outside instead of indoors sounds really nice.

Go out the side door and you'll see the yellow cosmos field right there. This is the spot that really gave off autumn vibes.

The cosmos in full yellow bloom made for pretty photos. There's also an outdoor terrace where you can drink coffee while looking at the cosmos. If you're looking for a large Cheonan café with a nice photo spot too, this kind of space is a welcome find.

Go up a bit further and there's a wide grassy area too.

There are tables and a tent zone set up, so it looked like a relaxed place to spend time even with kids. When looking for a good Cheonan brunch spot, people often go just for the food, but Pino Cafe Cheonan had the extra charm of a garden walk after eating.

How to order, and the rules for bringing a dog

Here's a quick guide to using Pino Cafe. Order and pay at the counter first, then pick up your menu yourself when the buzzer goes off; seating is first-come, first-served. After eating, return your own dishes.

If you're visiting with a dog, you can only use the Kevin room or the outdoor areas, and outdoors a carrier or leash is required. Waste should be cleaned up yourself with a poop bag, so if you're planning to bring your dog, check the rules ahead of time.

What we ordered: truffle cream pasta and the whole-wheat chicken sandwich set

  • Whole-wheat chicken sandwich set
  • Truffle cream pasta
  • Iced americano
  • Grapefruit ade
  • Sweet corn cream salt bread

Truffle cream pasta

The truffle cream pasta was thick and rich, but the cream sauce wasn't too heavy, with a subtle spicy kick that cut through the richness.

If you like cream pasta, this is a flavor you'll enjoy. If you're with kids, it might be worth asking to adjust the spice level when ordering.

Whole-wheat chicken sandwich set

The whole-wheat chicken sandwich set had a really generous spread.

The whole-wheat chicken sandwich came with salad, a fried egg, sausage, and fries, so just this one plate was filling enough for a proper meal. There were also two salad dressings to choose from depending on taste. Personally, I came for brunch and ended up feeling satisfied with what felt like a full proper meal.

Sweet corn cream salt bread

Can't skip the salt bread either. The sweet corn cream salt bread has crunchy streusel on top, and inside it's packed with sweet corn kernels and cream.

The salty salt bread paired with the sweetness of the corn made for a really nice sweet-and-salty combo.

Iced americano and grapefruit ade

The grapefruit ade was refreshing and paired especially well with the cream pasta, while the iced americano was nutty and clean, nice to drink after the meal.

Self-service bar

The self-service bar has cold and hot water, disposable gloves, wet wipes, empty plates, and forks and knives. You can also pack up leftovers yourself, which felt convenient too.

Walking the yellow cosmos field after the meal

After eating, we slowly walked around the yellow cosmos field. The flowers were blooming so prettily that it felt like a waste to head straight home after brunch.

If you're looking for a good Cheonan brunch spot and also want to enjoy a date or autumn outing at the same time, it was great being able to eat and walk in one visit. Among Cheonan's large cafés, being able to enjoy such a wide garden and outdoor space together really stuck with me.

How much does the private tent zone cost?

Pino Cafe Cheonan also has a private tent zone. With a food order, it's ₩25,000 for 2 hours, and if you order over ₩50,000 you get ₩20,000 off. If you're planning to visit on a weekend, it's a good idea to book quickly.

Naver receipt review event

The receipt review event offers a handmade egg tart (usable same day) and an americano coupon (not usable same day). I took part in the photo review event and got a handmade egg tart haha. The outside was baked crisp and the inside was soft and moist, so eating it with coffee made for a sweet finish.

Pino Cafe Cheonan had a wide range of tasty food from pasta to sandwiches to bakery items, and I got to see the yellow cosmos after a good meal. In autumn, you can enjoy flower viewing along with it, so it suited a family outing or date spot well. If you've been looking for a Cheonan brunch café with good pasta, try enjoying a tasty brunch plus a pretty garden.
